She seconded the nomination of Bernie Sanders for President rather than Joe Biden. And her speech never mentioned Biden at all.

If AOC wasn't getting her district gerrymandered out of existence before, she definitely is now.

Considering she specifically mentioned the state of Vermont, this wasn't an accidental gaffe or anything like that. She meant to say that and I think her tweet is an attempt to cover her ass

Bernie was doomed from the moment he self identified as socialist because America fundamentally will never accept socialism as an ideology even at the height of the USSR's power socialism and communism never came even slightly close to having anything resembling political clout in America

There's a reason why the KGB targeted academia in America for subversion instead of the labor unions like they did in Europe.

It's also why the modern Antifa movement of today emerged in the labor unions in France and West Germany in the 1960's but emerged from the punk subculture in America back in the 1980's.

The old Weimar Antifa gangs were completely extinct and aside from stealing a few names and symbols, the modern Antifa movement has no ties to them.

I think it will be the Clinton/Obama neoliberal corporate clique who will make the first move since they have far more wealth and power and the real support from the corporate bigwigs. They can also do the most damage if they make the first major strike and end the internal struggle more quickly.

I think the first move in this scenario would be purging AOC and Ilhan Omar via a mix of both gerrymandering and airing all the dirty laundry they have to "cancel" them politically to make an example of them to the rest of the Woke Left.

The DNC will definitely go after AOC for her explicit enmity with Nancy Pelosi and pulling stunts like this, and this will likely happen even if Biden wins.

Omar would be purged from her office for her more overt anti-Zionist and antisemitic beliefs and because she's got a lot more skeletons in her closet that could destroy her politically such as her sham marriage, Islamist tendencies, and ties to Antifa and BLM.

I think they were naive enough to assume AOC would bend the knee to keep her district around by 2022 and would hate Orange Man Bad enough to give at least a boilerplate endorsement of Joe Biden.
