Actually...BPD isn’t so cut and dry as that. For one thing, the disorder is still being explored and discovered. But because of the potential combinations of symptoms, there are 256 types of BPD. It’s stupid common to see someone who doesn’t understand BPD immediately rush to slap a stereotype on them. Either everyone with BPD is that crazy ex who threatened to kill themself every single time you argued or tried to leave them, or they’re that psycho who went from smiling to screaming at you. There are multiple reasons BPD is a bitch to treat and it’s not all because the person with BPD is resistant to treatment or flakes on their appointments. It is because of how different the disorder can manifest. What works for one patient might not work for another.

I really don’t believe Gronk has BPD, I’d guess at NPD. Or his ‘issues’ might not be a mental illness at all. Truly it could just be the malformed brain inside the balloon shaped noggin that makes him forever look like the world’s most grotesque life-sized bobble head.
