I think there's a huge problem with this argument Dick keeps bringing up about Cuties really being a "cautionary tale"... No part of the trailer or the advertising indicates it's a cautionary tale. The trailer is way too upbeat, the scenes with the twerking are creepily happy, the clip portrays the stern religious mother as the stuffy villainess.

A cautionary tale would be advertised in a much darker way and would sure as hell have much less blatant sexualization. I think this 'cautionary tale' argument is bullshit.
