Netflix's "Cuties" - The Preteen Sexual Objectification Equivalent of "Funny Games"

When her cousin finds out that Amy has stolen his smartphone, she tries to expose herself in front of him so that she does not have to give it back to him, to which he reacts angrily and ashamed.

I think thats one of the points that shows that an 11 year old thinks that exposing her body is "payment" to someone, that makes this not a good idea to spread this sort of message. We hear of this happening already in various areas of the internet. But when the mainstream latches onto it. You worry "Will an NC-17 movie featuring young girls be watched by young girls?" probably. These aren't philosophies that should be spread. Because as we've seen on this site and other sites, it ends with thing like drug addiction and escalating behaviors as the girl, now a women, tries to recapture the attention she had in her youth, it's how she is wired now.

Does anyone at reddit even come to kiwifarms
YES. Check the YandereDev thread for constant examples of people thinking KF is the new hacker known as 4chan.
So, I'm just gonna play Devil's Advocate here and ask why Cuties isn't allowed, but Dance Moms is?

People have wanted these kinds of child sexploitation things gone forever. Those complaints always fell on deaf corporate ears. Nobody but freaks liked or "allowed" these things.

A knowyourmeme user posted the plot summary of this... thing, roughly translated from the german wikipedia page. Here it goes:
The 11 years old girl, Amy Diop, has just moved to Paris from Senegal with her mother, Mariam, and her two younger brothers, one being named Ismaël. Amy does not know if their father is coming too, as her mother only gives vague answers when she asks.

At her new school, she quickly becomes aware of a group of other 11 year old girls, who mostly strut around in short skirts and cropped tops and call themselves “the Cuties”. In the girls' bathroom, they talk about sex and watch porn, but they do not understand what it means. The girls, Angelica, Coumba, Jess and Yasmine, like to dance and are preparing to compete in a dance competition. This lifestyle seems to be in complete contradiction to the views Amy is taught about in the Muslim prayer meetings, she and her mother attend, where women are sworn to obey their husbands. Amy does not want to cause her mother any grief, as she found out that her father plans to take another wife. Amy’s mother keeps it a secret that this woman is supposed to also live in their home in Paris and live with her father. Although Mariam views it as his failure that she is not enough for him, she is put under pressure by the aunt of the second wife and agrees to host the wedding.

The energetic Angelica lives in the apartment above them. Therefore, Amy often meets her in the laundry room, where she watches them dance unnoticed. She secretly watches videos of the Cuties on a smartphone that she stole from her cousin to learn their choreography and moves. She becomes fascinated by this world of YouTube videos and social media. Amy and Angelica become friends and tell each other about their worries and wishes. Soon Amy is accepted into the group and spends more time with them. After an argument Yasmine is thrown out of the group and Amy takes her place, whereupon she teaches the Cuties new moves. Following soon, Amy goes to school dressed in short and belly-button free clothes. She gets involved in a fight with another girl, who films her classmates. Due to this incident, Amy's mother learns about her daughter's behavioural changes. Also, she finds out that Amy stole money from her and went on a shopping spree with her friends. She has a breakdown. As her the wedding is approaching, Amy has to help with cooking preparations. She therefore comes too late to the audition but is nevertheless invited to the final.

When her cousin finds out that Amy has stolen his smartphone, she tries to expose herself in front of him so that she does not have to give it back to him, to which he reacts angrily and ashamed. Before she gives it back to him, Amy quickly photographs her shame/genitals and posts the photo. Her friends consider this as too far and exclude Amy and take Yasmine back in. Angelica tries to stay friends with her anyway.

Preparations for the arrival of the father and his second wife from Senegal are near completion. However, the wedding takes place on the same day as the dance finals. Amy escapes from home to get there, and during the trip there, she pushes Yasmine into some water, whereupon she takes her place in the group again. While the men in the audience take pleasure with the girls' performance, the women are outraged about it. However, Amy storms off the stage crying and runs back home. Her mother protects her from the aunt and tells her that she does not have to come to the wedding if Amy does not want to.
Couldn't we at least just have a plague of locusts swarm France? Get some Old Testament action in on them specifically?

Christ almighty, I think I need a shower just from reading the OP. Another reason why Hollywood needs a nuke button.

Is it just me or does this feel like it doesn't have an ending? It just stops. This synopsis is...informative but it feels incomplete. Like, why does the girl take a pic of her vagina? All of this seems so unnecessary.

This is pure distilled Islamic Content.

It's like the director is deliberately trying to piss off everyone with all these obscenities carried out and centered around these minors.

I think this movie ultimately shows how modernity has screwed up our youth.

This reminds me of a Transmetropolitan plot about child prostitutes.

Now, years ago, this particular comic would have been a jab at conservatives, or anything right wing. Reading through the issues again, and how much Spider hated anyone who was a complete fucking idiot, you can be forgiven to assume that at the time these stories were written.

There was another where these religious guys accosted a kid for kissing his girlfriend in public. Today, ultra feminists would have been up in arms that a white man would even so much as touch a woman regardless of how.

Then, you start to see more of it, and come across crazy futuristic fads and cults like "Breathairians", "Transaliens", "Transanimals", etc. Unsurprisingly, there's also a deadbeat President like "The Beast", and a too good to be true incumbent like "The Smiler".

You see where I'm going with this? We're closer to living in that reality than we've ever been. Unless these kids wake up. I mean, really wake up, they're only doing what the people they hated have always been doing.

Being idiots.

This reminds me of another film that used to be on Netflix. Sweet Sweetback’s BaadAssss Song. The opening scene for that was pretty much a soft core child porn sex scene. And this movie is celebrated as an important part of black history.
Let me guess.

"Dem wypipo hatin' on our pedo brothas and sistas! Pedo Lives Matter, you racists!"

They do realize this is bad optics, right?

No. Actually, worse optics. God almighty!

We know nothing about the casting or production. That's an incredibly optimistic POV on the situation. A lot of shit happens in casting and on set. That's with adults. Reminder, Shirley Temple told a story of getting offered the role of Dorthy for the Wizard of Oz where the head of the studio whipped out his dick and told her to suck it for the role. She didn't get it, Judy did. That hasn't stopped. Also again, maybe you haven't noticed but 'woke' doesn't call out pedos. They support them. And again, it isn't necessary for me to know any of that potentially horrible information. The poster and more importantly the trailer is sexually exploiting minors. There are camera moves closing in and focusing on 11 year old genitals in spandex. Don't defend this shit.

Stop it, Get help.

Can't find it now, but I read an excerpt from an interview with the director, who said she went through six hundred and fifty young girls during casting.

A (very left wing) friend on Facebook posted about how gross this shit is, and someone replied to her about how twerking is part of African American culture and criticizing this movie gives it an "unnecessary stigma"

I have no words
But it's a movie about west African immigrants in France, made by a Senegalese woman. There's nothing American about this. How many normie lefties are incapable of seeing black skin without projecting their own country's issues onto it?

Forget the modern scum. Nobody follows the muslem prophet anyway. Just like how nobody follows Christ and the jew prophet. Hes had older wives but do they follow that?
Nope they gotta go the pedo route and wanna bone the 10 year old.

Islam is not a reformed religion like Catholicism, it has extremely few people calling for it's modernization and having Clerics not translating the texts literally. That's why the photos are there, today.
