And if a movement goes around tacitly and sometimes implicitly blaming their problems on another race while having full institutional support that not only covers for them but downplays or ignores the problems that the group that's being blamed has, they can shut up and expect me not to care about them or their lives. You know what usually happens if you give your spouse or coworker a "hurtful and cruel" response? They don't kick you in the face or try to have your life ruined or loot and burn down your business. And if it does happen the media doesn't go on a full out blitz to explain why it was justified or an "incident brought upon by the frustration of the community."

On the forest fire subject, someone pointed recently on the Fun Facts thread that during the Gold Rush in California thousands of investors were duped into planting Eucalyptus. What australians forgot to say is that Eucalyptus produce a highly toxic and flammable oil that causes the trees to burst into flames when it's too hot. And their leaves when they rot cause the soil to acidify, therefore difficulting the appearance of undergrowth in the forest.
But going back... Do you really think these people would even consider to have a garden with the amount of work it costs to keep one in good condition? And if they have one, they probably have Pedro and Javier taking care of it. After all, grubbing in the dirt is no work for someone like them.

Part of the reason California's wildfires are so godawful is because Indians burned the land for thousands of years to harvest deer and acorns. Then all the Indians died because the gold miners finished off what was left of them and then nobody's burning the land so all sorts of brush builds up. And then really stupid people bring in fucking explosive trees from Australia that spread everywhere.
Cultures everywhere did the same shit for thousands of years but when you live in a place that catches fire regularly like Commiefornie you basically have to. Well, one day the government said "no, fires are bad, you can't do controlled burns, we must have zero wildfires", so for decades the problem got out of hand. That's why people say "look at indigenous knowledge" when talking about California or Australia, because a bunch of savages who died of disease and were easily picked off by the white man turned out to be smarter in the end than the idiots in the government and that makes them look impressive. Especially if you're an idiot who worships the government and "experts" like the experts who said for decades that controlled burns were bad.

And to a certain degree, it's right.
Plus, why isn't the government promoting foresting activities and curbing the population of invasive species? This same shitshow happened in Spain since 2000 and since then nearly every forester is in a hellbent path of destruction to anhialate Eucalyptus. Oh yes, i know... The government said "If you remove Eucalyptus now you will later remove blacks, don't you, racist?"
