I have to wear mask for ~7 hours at work, some years earlier I did 10 hours shifts with a mask. I don't know how food safety law regulation is in America, but I think those are lackluster compared to Poland. I'm wearing masks for years already; and these do not make your nose runny. I would say they actually help preventing infections - it's not a meme.
