There is nothing "vague" about his Pokimane videos. The intent was clearly harassment. He couldn't even try to hide it under criticism since it was nothing but 12 year old insults towards her. Sure, it was fucking funny because nobody likes her but it was still so clearly against their new rules, that he was warned repeatedly about, that I have no sympathy for him paying the price of it.

I don't know what's so fucking hard for people to understand, laughing at cows isn't a zero sum game. Just because Leafy went after 2-3 people that are also cows doesn't make him any less of a cow himself.

e: I think what happened is Susan and Co never liked leafy. They changed the algorithm to make sure he didn't trend. But he fucked off before they could make the finishing blow. Youtube is a $-1,000,000,000 a year company, Twitter doesn't make money either. Having a complete stranglehold on whats allowed to be said online on the few websites that are actually used by the majority is well worth the price. Much like how the mainstream media controls the narrative on television, these companies do the same. It won't be long until the only websites protected under 230 will be large corporations like Youtube/Facebook/Twitter which will always reinforce the mainstream narrative, pushing consumerism, us vs them political mentality while we get equally fucked by both, and shifting blame away from large corporations capturing government and onto the scary right-wingers.

I know folks like Jack Dorsey think Trump is dumb as rocks and will just revoke 230 for everyone so they can run wild on the industry. They think when that happens, they'll just create a bunch of false flags and sue their competitors. And you're probably wondering why the little guys don't do this in turn? Well, the major guys have armies of lawyers at their disposal and can waste funds just keeping the small guys in court perpetually until either they: a) run out funds b) agree to be the bitch boys for the majors c) get boughout by one of the majors or someone else.

IMHO, the opposite will happen. The FCC will change it so these major companies will be classified as publishers. Or they'll just use the current framework to go after the major guys while leaving the smaller ones alone. Twitter will probably be first so they can make an example out of Jack and then force Alphabet and Facebook to comply. The fomer will call their bluff while the latter will agree to it. Mark has already seen the light after getting called to congress a few times. I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook kicks Mark out of the company to call the FCC's bluff as well since there's a ton of discenters in the company who are fine with censoring folks.

I also think if these companies get their way and start censoring like there's no tomorrow, normies will just leave. Blue collar folks will be too busy to care and stop going. They also need money to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. Anything they post would be ammo for cancel culture to do their thang. And by staying offline, they won't grab the attention of the mob. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see companies tell their employees, even just informally, to just stop using the platform. Well those that care about their busineses well being anyways. The "Wine Karens" and "career mommies" will probably be ran off the platform after failing purity tests.
