Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

Okay! So, funny story! I vaguely remember seeing a post about this show called 'Magical Girl Friendship Squad' on the forums, but no matter where I looked, there was barely anything on the subject. May as well bring this to your attention, and yes... the tall one is gay. Why am I not surprised?

Woah, didn't knew Pig Eater Land had such strict rules against SJW cartoons.

Can someone summarize for me?

Couldn't watch it either but I found it re-uploaded on Tumblr by chance. But to summarize it it's about black-fat-pastel woman and her roommate, skinny-tomboy with an ambiguous ethnicity live in a trashy-ass an apartment a until one day they get magical powers from a red panda woman and now they are the savior of the world. Can't summarize it better than this and the clip is not very interesting either.

Didn't LJ do something horrible that made everyone there jump ship and head for Tumblr around that time?
If there was anything more significant than the site being bought by Russians and thus conforming to Russian law (ie. no more gay shit is the short of it), I'm not aware of it. It's actually still very active and apparently The blogging site in Russia.

Summary of the clip:
  • Sweet Pastel and Hella Lesbian are in a cafe, they ask the barista if she mixed up decaf and regular coffee because everyone is being lazy
  • Barista reveals she is a sailor-moon style weed-themed villain and she put CBD in the coffee to steal people's life force
  • "You got possessed after we were doing it yesterday, right?" GET IT? SHE'S A LESBIAN. Oh how unique and interesting. The character design should have told you anyway. All lesbians have short hair and vice versa.
  • Characters point out how convoluted the plan is. Lampshade hanging. So original.
  • "Say goodnight to your fellow freelancers" says the barista, collecting their energy in a magic crystal. Freelancers! #millennial #relatable
  • Panda pulls out transformation MacGuffins, which are a compact(?) and a bong.
  • There's a fanservice-y transformation sequence which, if I explain why I'm irritated with it I'll end up so far in the land of autism it's not funny
  • There's an unfunny joke about them thinking their outfits are revealing

the over the top "HEY LOOK ITS A SAILOR MOON VILLAIN REFERENCE!!" isn't original or unique. Just make up damn new villains, please. It comes off as a lazy rip off, not a reference.

There was some art from this artist here few pages ago i think, now they're in the tumblr radar

okay.PNG

Not as shit as the other art but still that hand and face are fucking ugly

So basically, any other "adult" cartoon out there on Comedy Central or SyFy (same humor, same writing, same dialogue style, same cheap puppet animation) but it's totally different and unique and good because it has lesbians and anime references.

You know what this sorta reminds me of? Gary & His Demons. Also I’m not 100% sure but Hella Lesbian may have the same VA as Bloody Mary from that show. At the very least they sound similar. (EDIT: Different VAs, just checked) And the Weed Monster kinda looks like something out of G&HD.

Btw G&HD is like what you mentioned for this show, but instead it has a look at the life of the Chosen One after he becomes older a jaded. And also has anime references. Hell there’s even an episode where he goes to a Chosen One conference in Japan only to discover that all his old buddies from other continents have all found the next generation and have therefore retired. So he’s just stuck with a bunch of kids.

Gary even gets his own transformation sequence.

It is one of those trashy limited animation adult cartoons but I personally enjoy it. With this magical girl show, tbh, I’m taking it with a bit of irony like perhaps the very Tumblr-esque look of it is part of the joke.

That said the Isis joke was a little funny. Scream Queens S2 already made that joke but it’s still a little funny. Also tbh I kinda wanna see where the skimpy outfit joke goes.

I’m sure it’s gonna be bad.

According to the official description, it's not a compact, it's a birth control prescription. Sure, why not?
This looks like it'll be "quirky millennial relatable" shit (has Syfy aired anything good in years?), but I think the killer is going to be the fanbase. Time to wait and see.
Hey guys, guess who's back:
This unintentionally looks like an offshoot of the kneecap fetish guy's work.
