here's some things that make this whole situation sus:
it seems like every time there's a "scandal" with JC they all play out the same where at face value it sounds really bad but it just turns out some straight (or bi-curious) pretty boy reveals that his whole motivation for even interacting with this gay guy is "because it's James Charles" (read: a famous person) i'm not even a JC fan but this shit is so formulaic at this point and not because JC as the same MO
can't wait for the next broccoli haired guy expose video "uh so like I'm straight but James Charles liked my IG post so I DM'd him telling him I was in love with him and he sent 2 smiling emojis back and I'm like uh really violated anyways here's all my social links. I'm spreading awareness cause James Charles is like, uh, bad so follow my tik tok"

- not one shred of evidence. he has a video of him clicking on JC's SC profile (which anyone can do) and then immediately cuts to screenshots - his own messages are deleted
- of what he does show it looks like JC was trying to hang out with someone he thought was legally an adult - the messages where he tells james he's 14 and JC asking for nudes... miraculously nowhere to be found
- this kid is smirking the entire time any time he talks about this situation. if that's not a tell then IDK what is
- his body language in general gives him away: he's exerting a lot of effort to try to look serious (in between smirking)

This is really what I was talking about above about the low income of an actual MUA. Jeff once had to work minimum wage at a MAC counter when he was starting his makeup career.
