That's true. And actually something else occurred to me. If you ban all the trolls and all the critics you end up like Ralph does with no one in chat except people spamming gifs. Treating your stream like your home instead of a public square means that no one will bother to comment. Oddly enough if you're a left-aligned Big Tech company this isn't such a problem. You always have a few pet streamers with the right opinions like The Young Turks, and the networks who'll provide content, your equivalent of Ralph's Gold Star Callers. It'll be an echo chamber but not such an obvious one.

In retrospect, I think this is one of the things that made the Killstream impossible to listen to. Ralph lost the ability to laugh at himself and banned anyone else who did. With the end result that we're talking about him here rather than engaging with his stream.

That being said I do think there's a subtlety about deplatforming and censorship. IMO de facto tech monopolies should not be able to do it for political reasons any more than the phone company should. I do think individual streamers should be able to block trolls but that doing so excessively will kill their streams.

I encourage you to superchat any of Rad Roberts's emails, the will a Kiwi wrote for him or any of the content you'd think be funny.

If it goes through, we can sit back and laugh.

If it doesn't, we can at least look at Ralph's expression as he reads through that superchat now that he decided to imitate Dick and show his face while streaming.

yeah, thats the issue too. obviously some people will change whatever suits them to mess with ralph but people usually lump almost any sort of negative critique in with trolling. why listen to some guy karening out, except oh no youve enshrined an actual fuck up as something you assume is just aloggy of someone to attack you on like stealing kids from an underground grooming railroad in la. id agree with your point though if it werent two people who did everything in their power to laugh at that point when it didnt benefit themselves and it is something lots of people on the free speech corner seem to not want to acknowledge

He's reading something very intensely on his phone when the interviewer is talking, he's looking a little freaked out. I wonder what's going on there, he's looked a little teary at points throughout the last 15 minutes. Also he's forgetting to mention the Holo-coaster from the heal stream, how convenient.

sargon is literally effecting case law and legal precedent whilst ralph and greg have to complain to keep raking in lemon themed scrip from a non-white anti free speech dictatorship. also it looks like he averages at literally more than 100 times ethans viewers on a really good day where he has upper end (for his pool) guests

edit lol sargons most recent video is less than a day old and it has 145 times ethans views for an upper end of the curve killstream, one video gets him more than a little over three months of those level killstreams
