I get that, and stuff I've heard about RT's part in HBO Max could be them trying to get a return on the investment of Gen Lock. Honestly, you see anything of RT surviving a restructuring? I honestly think the podcasts are the first ones to face the firing squad.
Its cartoons and the people who worked on them can be given to any animation studio. Everything else I've seen or heard of is worthless YouTube pablum anyone can make. Nearly all of Rooster Teeth's value is its brand name but wider audiences don't give a shit who's making their gay cartoons.
