Got a cap of the hatchet. I swear I've seen something like that before, maybe one of those weird "survival tool" designs, it doesn't look like a breacher.
Cop let the 3 black guys go, walked to where the white guys with rifles were lying on the ground, picked up the hatchet, then let the guys go. My current theory is the rifle guys caught the other 3 trying to break in, took away their break-in weapons, held them at gunpoint until the cop got there, then they lay down to show they weren't a threat. Cop had to let the looters go because a crowd was forming and he's alone, so he kept the hatchet and let the rifle guys go.
Either that or there was some major glowing fuckery going on. Cops in Portland used plainsclothes cops to identify and arrest some rioters, it's possible this was such a case. But I'd be surprised if they managed that on night 2, and if the "undercover" guys would carry very conspicuous rifles in the open like that.

Thinking of Kenosha as more organized than Minneapolis is a mistake too though. Regg himself caught bands of roving Antifa in Minneapolis systematically burning businesses after being looted. If you look back at early Minneapolis footage, there were fireworks and lasers being used against police, which we saw later in Portland. I have not heard of any of that being the case in Kenosha yet, but am happy to be corrected if wrong. There were two distinct phases of Minneapolis too: the initial looting which was spontaneous, but almost immediately the Antifa phase started with lasers and burning the Autozone because Antifa has a stronghold in Minneapolis. The looters continued during the Antifa phase by breaking into ATMs and banks and businesses too, so there is some overlap. I just do not see the scale of Minneapolis in any sense in Kenosha (yet).
