Why do I keep coming across these odd coincidences? When i search on a whim? "No surely not.... no wait..."

I have a theory about the relationship between capital systems and universities that depend on them and simultaneously want to burn them down.
The relationship is purposive, not stochastic. That is to say, there's nothing random about the situation, it happens by design.
Banks profit off investment, whether it's in markets or through stakes in enterprise using account holder's capital. Development and transactions have to happen in order for growth to occur.
By investing in universities, specifically ones with programs critical of the underlying capital structure, they create discontents who will form frameworks calling for reform / abolition of the current system. This will inevitably lead to social programs seeking to address the concerns as well as political movements aimed at reform. Change will never occur at the rate these groups demand, leading to conflict and eventually to destruction of the old norms and expressions of power.
The new regime will require capital in order to establish it's legitimacy and care for the needs of it's people. In turn, this leads to profit in the banks. They retain the same place of importance in the new regime because it's necessary for them to exist. If the banks themselves are nationalized, that doesn't mean the assets underlying the capital are. They simply make arrangements to maintain their hegemony outside the existing structure, whether it's through deals with the new powers that be or by moving assets to another country.
You could think of this as a prime mover scenario, where they have an interest in overthrowing the status quo once the dominant majority ceases to be profitable. There's never a situation where the international flow of capital can cease or that would destroy the model.
Have been thinking about this a lot lately, especially given all the talk about decoupling from China. Although there are some holes in the theory, it explains a lot of what we're seeing with the riots, demographic changes, calls for open borders and free citizenship. The US has simply outlived its useful purpose and capital demands it be radically altered to create profitable conditions in the future.
