It's happened before quite recently during the Yellow Vest protests in France like a year ago (wonder if that shit is still going on). The idea was that since Frogs are mandated by law to have a yellow vest in their vehicles everyone can join in.

I even recall a counter protest version where they were using red scarves, but it was quickly forgotten cause who the fuck has red scarves? Less accessible to the majority than a cheapo yellow reflective vest.

I actually considered bringing them up in that exact section, but I admit that I'm not particularly well-versed in the Yellow Vest protests, so I left it out for safety's sake.

For the record, and judging by the footage, I do believe it was self defence, and honestly good for the kid. He did well, and has more balls than most people.
But I just can’t get over how dorky and adorable his pictures are.

Never let someone tourniquet a limb unless there is massive continued bleeding. It's a good way to force that limb to be amputated.

Apply pressure and covering with a clean gauze and seek the nearest emergency room immediately.

Although I think the shooting was more or less justified (I'm one to wait until all the facts are out there before committing one way or the other), a kid like him shouldn't be out there policing the streets.

Regarding his age, is owning a gun legal in Wisconsin for minors? Pretty sure some hunting rifles are allowed, but other than that? Depending on the law, it could prove to be a disadvantage to him.

To buy, yes. To possess, no. Gun culture is strong in Wisconsin as previously mentioned, so it is not out of the norm for a kid to have a rifle for hunting.

ETA: Wisconsin state law apparently prohibits possession for minors except in scenarios where an adult is present.

It's possible Wisconsin might have a lower age for rifles (like 16 or 17) because it's a major state for hunting and sport shooting. I could be wrong on that and I'll double check what the gun laws are in Wisconsin.

It's also possible that the firearm belongs to one of his parents or an older sibling.

Yeah, makes me question the dox. Under federal law, a dealer can only sell a long gun to 18+, but there's no age restriction for a private party to sell/give/transfer to someone else. However, only four states (Alaska, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and surprisingly New York) appear to allow possession of a long gun by anyone below the age of 18.
