KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

All these men will be lauded as heroes and "peaceful protesters", despite all of them having extensive criminal records. The "Shoot me nigga" baldy was a child rapist, the guy who got his arm blown off was convicted of felony burglary, and Huber was a domestic abuser. My guess is his girlfriend and his girlfriend's daughter won't miss him much. :story:

I don't think we know how many the Roof Koreans tagged in the LA riots.

The official death toll was 63, making it one of the deadliest incidents in modern California history.

The LAPD back then was based AF and I can imagine them rolling up on a small pile of bodies in front of a convenience store, shrugging, and driving off.

The same thing happened in the 1960s. Over the years the boomers have sanitized their youthful years to make it sound like it was just high hippies with flowers. The turning point for the public was when "hippy" went from the long hair college student protesting in the park to Charles Manson starting Helter Skelter. It's part of the reason many boomers cut their hair, got real jobs, and like to larp as progressives by telling themselves if they recycle and eat organic they aren't' sellouts. The riots, violence, and murders left a bad taste in the public mouth in the 60s.

Washington D.C. had riots in 1968 just like we're having today, and they never fully recovered from it socially or financially. If you live in any of these gutted cities you better get used to the new reality that your area is permanently a third world shithole for the foreseeable future.

DC has actually been recovering quite a lot thanks to gentrification lately. Areas that have literally had rubble in some lots for decades now have coffee shops and Whole Foods. As quality of life goes up, the percentage of white citizens goes up, and the percentage of black citizens goes down. So much so that blacks are barely still a majority, No correlation there whatsoever.

That's what the riots do. A city will go from being a place a young couple can buy a home and start a family to slums. Eventually, someone with enough cash will take the risk and expense to kick out the ghetto leftovers. Trump did the same thing with New York. How long that takes depends on how long the people that caused the riots, to begin with, are still there. Biden's long term incarnations served a purpose for the elite.
