that scares me for some reason i dont know why but the fact a simple alternative in gender can change the view and influence of other people. Or a change in identity even race wouldn't really budge a perspective of an audience with a similiar opinion and philosophy even if it were wrong or right.

Acrylics are far more watery than oil paints, and those used for modelling (which can be used to paint most objects) are less viscous than housepaint. Almost any manual or video on painting stuff with acrylics suggests putting a basecoat down first - usually white (as it makes the colors look more vibrant). Of course, cheap low-quality paints are much worse than the decent stuff (for painting models and other things, i've found the stuff used for painting Warhammer miniatures works the best).

As a final point, re-stringing a Ukulele isn't difficult, and there's plenty of tutorials on Youtube on how to do it. I can only guess she broke the strings removing them and hasn't got round to buying a new set. As a whole, if Amanda had done any research at all before starting her Ukulele project, it probably would have turned out a lot better.
