It's because they are big city people and think going more than a couple blocks from your home is a commute you only do for like work and shit. They have zero clue how things work in small town and rural America.

If the next town over is flooding. You grab your shovel and go over to fill sandbags. If there is a big windstrom you grab your chainsaw and clear the streets. Snow, shovel. And if they need to evacuate from some other disaster, you open your home. It's just what you do. Be neighborly and treat their community as your own. 20 miles and a state line isn't an excuse.

This kind of midwest eagle scout thinking is completely alien to them in their highly divided and stratified concrete hellscape.

Also people who talk about "oh 30 minutes is so far away" tend also to be in Europe who think counties are small AF, most of the US States are larger then a good chunk of Euro counties.

Swarming around a guy who's hurt to yell and shove cameras in everyone's faces is totally how you help. Most of these videos are so chaotic and loud it's hard to tell what's even going on.

That law is being misapplied here. Subsection 3C narrows the application of the law when the weapon is a rifle or shotgun. Nick talked about it on the last stream already. Posession isn't illegal the real legal question is whether there are any open carry laws on the books and how those apply to long guns.

Alright I concede the point. Bad optics for him, but he didn't actually say he assaulted women. Still not a conversation a moral man ought to be having.

Where is that dude now? I may not have caught that if it was mentioned before. Either way if they do catch it on fire surely such clear proof of arson to a private residence is easy grounds for arrest.

I'm working on it. But as I'm largely being lazy and transcripting a 12 hour long video, the thread is likely to be very, very long, even before the discussion starts.
