U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Technically, he was charged with it, and they will see if he is guilty or not. If there is a rule or law that made it possible for him to carry that gun, it will be checked and if it applies, the charges will be dropped.

Raising charges doesn't equal being declared guilty. But I have to say, I want to see the decision on that, too, cause I don't understand the current reasoning of it being legal in Wisconsin, when it seems to not be...
That's because the law is written stupidly. If you just read the first subsection and stop there it sounds like it's illegal. Subsection 3C contains the exception which says the law only applies to shotguns and rifles in a more narrow set of circumstances. The first is if the rifle or shotgun is an SBR or SBS. The second relates to hunting under 16 years of age. Since he is in possession of a rifle, only subsection 3C applies and since the rifle is not a SBR and he is not under 16 while hunting then he hasn't violated subsection 3C. There likely are other criminal statues related to carrying the firearm that he violated but posessing the rifle was totally legal and that's what he was charged for.

Think about it logically. Long guns have been carved out as exemptions for gun control ever since it was first created because hunters and fudds would have been pissed enough to kill it off entirely. Do you really think a state with a strong hunting culture would prohibit a 17 year old from being in possession of a rilfe without mommy and daddy present? Haven't you heard the stories of kids bringing their guns to high school to go hunting after class in the good old days? The only thing that really changed is the gun free schools law and zero tolerance policies.

45ACP. Hit center of mass, they are most unlikely to get up again, as a friend told me. 9mm...not as certain.
Last bit of gunsperging I swear, but my uncle told me a story about this gunsmith he knows that maintains his weapons. Used to be a Scout Ranger, some of the baddest motherfuckers in our army, and they were fighting Muslim separatists down in the jungles in Mindanao. Anyhow, some terrorist decided to mag dump a full 15 round clip of 9mm into his back and he's still able to pull it together long enough to blow the dude away.

He survived but it fucked him up bad and he's all hunched over now like Quasimodo (my uncle's words). But ever since then, the guy never carried anything smaller than a .45 cause he believes if a whole mag of 9mm didn't kill him that day, he can't trust it at all.

Edit: Thinking bout it now, maybe it wasn't a full clip, but it was definitely a significant amount of bullets if he decided to swear off 9mm altogether after the fact.

I just read the Slate article and I am just flabbergasted...

They try to make the claim that the crowd thought Kyle was a mass shooter and all they wanted to do was disarm him...

Disarm him with a jump kick?

Disarm him with a skateboard being used as a deadly weapon.

Disarm him with a pistol at low ready?

Was Kyle to trust the intention of a man drawing a firearm on him for mere detention?

I have seen multiple posts on here stating that the left wants to see people like us broke, injured, imprisoned, or dead. I brushed them off humor based on exaggeration of the left. Not anymore... Under the author's paradigm, what if it was a store owner?

If a store owner shot an aggressor trying to burn down his store and then charged him; is he to submit himself to the mob?

That is insanity.

All research on mobs and their psychology indicate that they are extremely prone to violence given the loss of individuality. As such, the store owner would have faced a significant threat of been beaten and killed. But if a store owner had submitted to the mob and was killed, do you think it would have gotten the coverage the Kenosha story has gotten? Slate does not even address the David Dorn murder, while he defended his store. Such, I know Slates answer. Just ignore it.

Perhaps it would have been like CNN...it was a mostly peaceful protest though police did report finding one person dead.

Hence, we have our new paradigm. Read even the NPR facebook page on this shooting. It's not Trumps fault that we have become more polarized. The left has gone off the charts on how "progressive" they want to be. Any mention of evidence or facts that do not fit the narrative is met with scorn or a laughing emoji. All that is done to break the will of those on the center or the right. It is done to shut them the fuck up.

Screw your evidence, do you want to be mocked?

So that brings us to this shooting again. If you are successful in defending your property?

An evil White Supremacist.

Valued property over people.

Evade the criminal charges? Well get ready for the civil trial, funded by the Marxist National Lawyers Guild, where you will be raked through the coals. Either way you lose, even a victory at civil trial means that your soul has been crushed, your business boycotted or you being unemployed.

This neo band of Red Guard has labeled you as problematic and don't you dare resist. If they want to rob you of your livelihood or burn the years of hard work away? You better not use force or you might face someone trying to disarm you by slamming a skateboard over your head. So what if the left was wrong and you die? Your death won't even be covered by most news outlets or if so it will be minimized to a five second clip.

Just do as this Red Guard commands...

Make no mistake my fellow Kiwis...we are coming ever closer to a fight for our very lives as free independent people that is not a slave to woke. I refuse to bow to this new Red Guard. I just want to be left alone. Personally, I am not a violent persons and I go out of my way to avoid conflict. I don't want to hurt anyone or go on any shooting sprees. But if we descend into civil war...I will have no choice but to kill every communist revolutionary I can.

Nothing for me is off the table.
Every Main stream media article I see is like this, it’s crazy, there’s even one on yahoo framing the “ victims” as such wonderful people.
There was only two ways this could have played out, it was either going to end the way it did, or Kyle was going to be the first execution by the rioters.
The sick part is I think they would have been cheered on, for stopping a “mass shooter” and killing a “facist”.

Theres the Yahoo article if anyone’s curious.

So apparently the same lawyer that represented the Covington Catholic school kid suing the media, Lin Wood, is offering to represent Nick Rittenhouse fo free. Though I expect the charges to be quietly dropped or heavily downgraded anyway (almost impossible to prove intent for 1st degree murder in court with this much video evidence to the contrary), that's big.

The absolute swinging sack on this man. No longer satisfied with the pocketbooks of CNN and the Washington Post, he is now coming directly for the DA of Lake County Illinois or whoever is actually charging Rittenhouse.

Yes but 9mm known for soeed and can have more roinds in a magazine. Where 45acp is slower and carry less rounds. Which is more important speed or mass?
Speed used to be more important for reliable hollow point expansion but modern bullet design has rendered that less of a concern. Mass is better for barrier penetration but that's a situational concern. Personally since capacity is a non-issue for me I'm confident enough in the bigger hole .45 tears to choose it over 9mm for the time being.

When you recognize the news for what it is, propaganda, then you realize just how bad and pervasive it is. Unfortunately if you try to talk about this in real life you end up sounding like a schizo to most people. I believe that's on purpose but maybe it's a happy accident.

Hahah, amazing. The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle published an article attempting to deny that Joseph Rosenbaum, the Jewish pedophile that Rittenhouse killed in self defense, was Jewish.

This caused an explosion of schvitzing on Twitter, and the newspaper changed the title and added a disclaimer.

Editor’s note: The original headline for this story has been rewritten, after some interpreted it as indicating only a practicing Jew has value. That was not our intention, and it is not what we believe. We apologize for any pain we’ve caused.
The article has since been deleted.

Even then its not a guarantee, 9mm gives you the benifit of putting more rounds (but less stopping power) if you need to vs 45ACP before reload, 45ACP has more stopping power but you carry less.

in one case a suspect took 14 rounds of 45ACP before being neutralized.
As long as we're gun sperging, here's a question. What kind of (reasonably obtainable) round is most likely to stop someone in the shortest time with the fewest shots? It's looking more and more like I might have to get a gun to defend my family in the near future, and one of the most successful emotional arguments against self defense is "he shot more than [arbitrary number] times! only a cold blooded killer shoots more times than the secret number!"

I figure if an intruder goes down in a single shot, I'm less likely to get life times thirty million for defending my life in a racist manner or whatever.

And yes, I'm already very familiar with my local laws. I know how to not explicitly break the law, but I'm more concerned with an activist judge ignoring the facts because it makes her look good on Twitter.

Oy Vey! Feel like this is going to end up being another case of the Streisand effect.

More mainstream media lies and fearmongering. Believe the ONLY thing that got Democratic mayors off their asses and let law enforcement do their job has been the presence and actions of armed citizens. So they can't use Facebook? Try Craigslist, or Nextdoor, or passing an email around. Law enforcement and the NG need to get it done now, before armed citizens get it done for them. Kyle Rittenhouse showed the entire country these fucks can be killed. Also showed the entire country that these bastards are armed themselves.

Articles like this have also given this militia and other similar groups a ton of publicity. View attachment 1554099

CHICAGO — After two straight nights of violent unrest, Kevin Mathewson posted a call to arms on the Facebook page of his fledgling militia group Kenosha Guard.
a group of people standing on a sidewalk: Demonstrators revisit the site where a protester was killed on August 26, 2020 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. On August 25, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two demonstrators. As the city declared a state of emergency curfew, a fourth night of civil unrest occurred after the shooting of Jacob Blake, 29, on August 23. Video shot of the incident appears to show Blake shot multiple times in the back by Wisconsin police officers while attempting to enter the drivers side of a vehicle. The 29-year-old Blake was undergoing surgery for a severed spinal cord, shattered vertebrae and severe damage to organs, according to the family attorneys in published accounts.

Formed in the days after George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis, the page boasted only 87 likes. But Mathewson, a former alderman, got a wide response with his Tuesday post asking for “patriots willing to take up arms and defend (Kenosha, Wisconsin) from the evil thugs.”

Within about four hours, some 1,000 people responded they were “going” to the Kenosha event. Another 4,000 said they were “interested.”

Later in the day, Mathewson, an assault-style rifle visibly strapped around his chest, posted a 15-second clip of civilians gathered near the courthouse. That night, police say a civilian with an assault-style weapon shot and killed two men and wounded another as armed vigilantes patrolled the streets during yet another violent night of protests following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Police have released no details of the shootings, and there’s no evidence that a 17-year-old suspect taken into custody was led to Kenosha by the Facebook post. Mathewson said he does not know the suspect, Kyle Rittenhouse of Antioch, Illinois, and knows of no communication with his group.

But city and law enforcement officials have blamed the armed vigilantes who showed up Tuesday night for worsening tensions and sparking unnecessary confrontations. Mathewson says he was only trying to protect his city.

“In my view, when the government can’t protect us, that’s when we rely on the Second Amendment, which is in place just for these circumstances,” he said Thursday. “Our city was under siege, we were under attack and the government could not ensure our safety.”

That’s not how Facebook sees it. The social media giant has taken down the Kenosha Guard’s page for violating its “dangerous organizations policy.” Rittenhouse, who is facing murder charges in connection with the Tuesday night shootings, had his Facebook and Instagram accounts taken down and the company will temporarily prohibit anyone from starting a new account in his name.

Brian Fishman, who oversees Facebook’s dangerous organizations department, also posted a thread to Twitter about the situation, saying: “None of the shooter’s accounts were reported by users prior to the shooting.”

Mathewson’s personal account was also removed without notice and he was effectively banned from Facebook for life in connection with the policy, which prohibits organizations or individuals that declare a violent mission or are engaged in violence. (Really? Then has FB prohibited BLM or Antifa? I doubt it. Fucking liars. - JS)

“He will not have been warned and (we) will not allow people who are banned under our dangerous orgs policy to have a profile,” a spokeswoman for Facebook said in an email.

Facebook also looked into any obvious links between Mathewson’s post and the arrival of Rittenhouse in Kenosha.
“At this time, we have not found evidence on Facebook that suggests the (suspect) followed the Kenosha Guard page or that he was invited on the Event Page they organized,” the Facebook spokeswoman said. “However, the Kenosha Guard Page and their Event Page violated our new policy addressing militia organizations and have been removed on that basis.”

The policy was announced Aug. 19 and comes after a summer of vigilante clashes during protests following Floyd’s killing at the end of May.

“We’ve had too many tragedies like those in Kenosha. Companies like Facebook owe it to everyone to closely examine the influence of online content on such violence — and to take action to stop it,” Fishman wrote.

Militia-style groups patrolled the streets of Minneapolis in the weeks after Floyd died. In Albuquerque, a person was shot and seriously wounded in June during a clash between protesters and a group called the New Mexico Civil Guard.
After the shootings in Kenosha, hundreds of people made clear they would like to see Mathewson face a much harsher punishment than losing his Facebook page. A petition circulating online demanding that Mathewson be charged as an accessory to murder had 1,650 signatures as of 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Mathewson, a private investigator, said he has also been the target of death threats.

In an interview Thursday, Mathewson said he wouldn’t go so far as saying he regretted that so many people came from outside his community to guard it, saying it wasn’t his intention for the response to grow so large.

He said the posting was written up by the alt-right website Infowars run by Alex Jones, known for his conspiracy theories. Mathewson, in turn, said he promoted the Infowars article on the Kenosha Guard page, as a way to note the “event” was getting national media attention.

Soon, he started getting hundreds of messages of support from all over the world, as far away as Australia and New Zealand.

On Thursday, Mathewson said promoting the Infowars article was a mistake. “It certainly wasn’t my intention to attract people from outside the community, let alone the state,” he said.

He also acknowledged that the Infowars site is “not very credible.”

Mathewson said he made the post an “event” on Facebook but he hadn’t planned logistics for something so large. He said he didn’t have walkie-talkies or issue assignments or coordinate the turnout, other than suggesting people “go to the courthouse.”

Before returning to his neighborhood, where he spent much of the night posted at a subdivision entrance with a small group, Mathewson himself was there, standing with other openly armed men in a park as curfew neared. At the time, Mathewson told a reporter he was there to “lend support to the good guys.”

Kenosha Police Chief Dan Miskinis appeared to agree, saying Mathewson and the others were out to protect property and “exercise their constitutional right.”

Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian disagreed, saying such groups only make the situation worse. “No, I don’t need more guns on the street in the community,” he said at a news conference the day after the shootings.

But Mathewson responded that the mayor had failed to protect the city. “If I was an officer getting Molotov cocktails and rocks thrown at me, I would be scared out of my mind,” he said. “For them to say, ‘We can handle it,’ is disingenuous and reckless. It’s putting politics ahead of safety and common sense, in my opinion.

“Here in Kenosha, I can smell burning rubber and I can see the building in front of me, the probation and parole building in a big pile of ash and debris,” he continued. “We’re at war, we’re being invaded.”

Isn't this what Dems want? Militias and Roof People going out and taking lives so they can say all this shit happened on Trump's watch?

12 gauge slug to the chest.

Nitpick: Sandmann didn't settle for 245 million. The entire suit was for that amount, so the currently unknown settlement amount would be noticeably less.

This video is getting deleted all over, gone from LiveLeak, so archiving here for posterity. Mob of joggers surrounds a car in Michigan, driver tries to drive off and hits a pole, gets dragged from his car and beaten (possibly to death) while the man filming laughs.

These subhumans are not fit to live in society.

.....Is that guy legitimately insane? Who the hell is going around teaching people to tackle someone with an assault rifle who just shot people? What kind of idiot would think that was a good idea at all? Thats exactly how people darwin award themselves. These people should ask the red army how charging people with guns turns out. Even if you did manage to tackle someone in such a situation you'll die doing it

What they really have been teaching is run-hide-fight. In that order. Schools pretty much hate saying the fight part and super emphasize the run and hide part. The response that has been drilled into people isn't suicide mission yourself into being the hero. It's save your skin and if you can't do that then fight for your life.

These people could run and hide. They weren't trapped in some confined space and forced to fight with what they had. They chose to engage because they thought they'd get away with it.

He was convicted of sex with a minor and on the registry.
He was 18 at the time and the CURRENT (not when convicted, they may have changed....I don't think anyone has confirmed) law is that he would have had to have sex with someone 15 or younger. Also possibly a proper child rape since we don't have data either way.
Edit: Ninja'd....Also I thought it was 15 or younger, not younger than 15.
If he had non-consensual contact with a minor (any person under the age of 18 ), he would have been charged with sexual assault. The sexual conduct with a minor charge (A.R.S. 13-1405) is defined as:
A. A person commits sexual conduct with a minor by intentionally or knowingly engaging in sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact with any person who is under eighteen years of age.

B. Sexual conduct with a minor who is under fifteen years of age is a class 2 felony and is punishable pursuant to section 13-705. Sexual conduct with a minor who is at least fifteen years of age is a class 6 felony. Sexual conduct with a minor who is at least fifteen years of age is a class 2 felony if the person is or was in a position of trust and the convicted person is not eligible for suspension of sentence, probation, pardon or release from confinement on any basis except as specifically authorized by section 31-233, subsection A or B until the sentence imposed has been served or commuted.

I have not been able to find if there is any information on what the statute looked like in 2002. The confusing part for me is that his charges are class 3. I've looked high and low and can't find any example of what it would take to get a class 3 felony charge of sexual conduct w/ minor. If he was violent to any degree, I doubt the courts wouldn't add on additional charges for it. Specifically on the Bail Bonds HQ site, there is a column for "crime info" that lists "d/nr" for the 10 year charge. D/NR means "dangerous/non-repeating." My current theory is that the statute changed the more severe aspect of the charge from class 3 to class 2 since 2002. My reason for thinking this is not only due to the length of the sentence, but also the "d/nr" bit from the bail bond record. There's a pdf from Maricopa county that offers a bit more telling information:

However, if the victim is under the age of 15 years, the offense becomes a class 2 felony, punishable under the sentencing criteria of “dangerous crimes against children.”

This line would explain why he's listed as dangerous in his record. From what my retard brain can piece together is he likely had sexual contact with a minor under the age of 15, or could have been in a "position of trust" with said minor. Again, this is piecing together a narrative using current law for a crime from 15+ years ago. If someone is able to find a record of what the law was for this charge from 2002, we should be able to determine how much of a pedo this guy is. Which is important because the left will try to downplay the charge and make it out like he was having consensual intercourse with his 17 year old girlfriend. I could be wrong but I find it hard to believe that Arizona law was so draconian in 2002 that they'd put an 18 year old in prison for 10 years and classify him as "dangerous" just because he finger-banged his girlfriend.

I've heard there wasn't much going on in Portland last night, is that the case? Did anything else happen in Kenosha last night as well?

Did arresting the Riot Ribs Restaurant supply chain cause a big logistical setback? They got busted with all kinds of riot gear, fireworks, and gas cans in their vehicles when they got busted.
