Team Obama, activate!

Left-wing Hollywood stars are rallying around Barack Obama as evidence mounts that the former president was involved in the failed take down Gen. Michael Flynn as well as a larger clandestine effort to derail the Trump presidency. President Donald Trump has repeatedly tweeted about a massive “Obamagate” scandal, saying that Obama and Joe Biden led the “most corrupt administration in U.S. history.”

“It was OBAMAGATE, and he and Sleepy Joe led the charge. The most corrupt administration in U.S. history!” the president tweeted on Monday.

Over the weekend, leaked audio footage emerged of Obama slamming Trump. The former president claimed that the Justice Department’s decision to abandon its prosecution of Flynn means that the “basic understanding of rule of law is at risk.” He also slammed President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Loyal left-wing Hollywood celebrities have begun circling the wagons around Obama, playing defense as the #Obamagate hashtag trended on Twitter on Monday. Prominent entertainment figures including Ava DuVernay, Barbra Streisand, Patricia Arquette, and Jeffrey Wright have leapt to the former president’s aid, eager to downplay the gravity of the brewing scandal.

Could this famous thing be upon us in the near future?

Putting this into perspective, he managed to act in a major film while suffering from colon cancer. For his family's sake, they should get checked for colon cancer. Usually this is done around 50 for men, but with those that have a family history of colon cancer, this is reduced to 40. Rest in peace you tough bastard, you gritted your teeth through this, but now it's time to rest.

I'm not a Marvel fan but he really disappeared into the James Brown biopic role. I'm usually the first one to shit on Hollywood but come on, 43 years and colon cancer? That's too young to go when you've literally got the world at your fingertips. Hell, hope he got to enjoy the ride a bit.

I suppose it should remind us all, that all glory is fleeting.

Unless you're dear leader and all glory is feeding.

RIP.

No way are they going to recast T'Challa. Can't wait to see what super contrived way the find to bring in his replacement.

I loved him in Luther, that was a great show. Black Panther was okay as far as cape shit goes, but he did play the role well.

Fellow actors and celebrities Jordan Peele, Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Simu Liu, Mark Ruffalo, Halle Berry, Brie Larson, Storm Reid, Dwayne Johnson, Ice Cube, and Tinashe each paid tribute to Boseman on social media.

That was fast

Hopefully the family can sell Disney the rights to the man's digital likeness for a billion dollars for use in future capeshit movies.

I gotta ask... did he really die of cancer? Joe Paterno suddenly died of lung cancer just days after getting fired from Penn State when their pedo scandal blew up. Neither of them showed signs of such a serious health problem. Maybe he was skinnier lately but colon cancer is a serious killer, could he really have pulled off the Black Panther performance while he was in treatment for it?

The timing of this seems suspect. Can't help but wonder if he was expected to make some public statement about the riots or the election and someone wanted to shut him up.
