reddit General

Imagine thinking that Far-left discourse is gone on Reddit. Imagine thinking that right-wingers are infesting Reddit. What reality are these clowns living in?
There's no such thing as far-left discourse because it always devolves into into "I'm more oppressed than you are".

I don't understand their negativity towards cadet programs because usually those are where kids that need discipline or are under achievers at school end up. In most cases I've seen it be very beneficial in straightening them out too and giving them a clear career path to the future that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise (Where I am cadets usually refers to military cadets).

Also, fuck that one guy trying to link cadet programs with Nazi indoctrination. I bet they've never actually talked to anyone that's gone through cadets.

>redditor
>talking to people

Good one.

Also, update. Reddit is now hailing the skateboard man as a hero for trying to stop this mad shooter. And also harping on the idea that his gun was illegal for him to have, seemingly not actually checking the laws that explicitly say he can absolutely own a rifle.

Was this based, or not?

They serious? If anything they're becoming less alt-right.

I think what they mean is that they saw a comment like

"hey, maybe we aren't 100% right, and maybe the opposition has some good points from time to time?"

And it wasn't -500, hidden and subsequently banned within 10 minutes - which basically means the website might aswel be /pol/ now.

I guess when you're used to a complete echochamber, every single comment that shatters your worldview, no matter how small or irrelevant, will feel like a mass trolling campaign. I guess it helps them sleep at night.

TheRightCantMeme is so full of racist memes that it's a better source than an actual literal nazi account.
hmmm.

1) Reddit bans sanity
2) make subreddit holding up examples of sanity as "terrible"
3) laugh along with your friends at the memes you like without fearing the ban because you're totally just holding them up to condemn them, we swears it uWu tranny janny princess!

Yeah, I know, overly :optimistic: in this case but I wonder if there are any subs out there successfully following that formula

I don't know if that's the intent of the NEETs running these subs... but I guarantee you that people are actively using these mocking subreddits to get the memes that were otherwise banned.

I'm sure tons of people go to places like r/therightcantmeme just to get right wing memes to share/use unironically. Honestly it's only a matter of time before reddit bans all parody subs for that exist reason, mark my words.

Just wait for a subreddit called r/childpornbegone come up and everyone downloads the photos of the victims

I stumbled across..this...

It's like bizzaro world full of females incels rather then males. But it's just as full of twisted hateful logic and terrible advice for anyone unlucky enough to reach out for guidance.

Seriously go check it out, very much sadness, very much gurl power and many many many soon to be cat ladies.

Much win, much happy!

There was a stat somewhere that shows a significant confluence of FDS with r/blackladies which is not in the least bit surprising. They are some of the most bitter and spiteful communities on the entire site. Literal embodiments of the angry black woman stereotype.

Top 5.
Borderline personality disorder sub at 4, the stereotypes ring true.

"Women over 30" subs seem to be heavily represented for both.

The comments about more 'sane' comments being seen, is happening.

I'm not sure if it's just the subreddits I follow (I deleted Boost for a while there, reddit is great shitting fodder though), there are definitely more posts and comments that are questioning the ongoing insanity.

The banning of so many subreddits completely backfired on them. People are addicted to reddit and it's easier to just stay there, joining other subs, or spending more time on subs that they otherwise wouldn't have. This has definitely had an impact on the content appearing in comments, and from what I can see, the content isn't being deleted any longer, whereas you'd be lucky if it lasted even 10 minutes previously on some of the banned subs.

There are also a lot of previously "sleeper" users waking up, like how askgaybros is being overrun by transsexuals demanding to be the center of attention, so gays are in revolt.
