Those are the fees won, so being sanctioned is the same thing? I thought it meant something else. My bad then, still trying to learn some of this stuff.
losing at TCPA for Vic means he'd be ordered to pay lawyers fees and sanctions. to my understanding the fees are to compensate the defendants for the costs made to defend themselves against Vic's claims, while the sanctions are more of a punishment for Vic and a deterrent not to bring a meritless suit again. that said, until we get word back from the appeals there's still a chance Chupp's ruling gets overturned which would naturally affect the fees and sanctions that he awarded.

Sanctions are punitive, which is the court saying "you did this bad thing, don't waste our time or money again."

The attorney fees are a separate, and are to compensate the defendants for what was ruled a frivolous lawsuit. The reasoning for that is that they shouldn't have had to spend the money to defend against someone's abuse of the legal system.

Roughly speaking Moron got $100,000 (jointly), Marchi got $50k, and Funimation got $50k, plus a few thousands here and there for fees and expenses.

Oh, yeah, let's not forget:

$282,000 minus the roughly $100,000 Vic owes them is still $182,000. Enjoy being sued by your own law firm to pay up, gay bois.

And that's best case scenario that nothing is brought back,

The TCPA statute requires that the plaintiff be sanctioned if the case is dismissed. The judge has to award something to the defendants. Ron is pretending that the $5,000 sanctions is a huge deal, but we can compare that with what he originally asked for:an amount between $100,000 and $260,000.

So it would be fair to say that the trial court considered the case to be 1/52nd as awful as Ron did.

True, Ron's less than an insect too even if he's small like an ant...guess he must enjoy getting trapled over by every adult and child that comes near him, as they're all bigger people than he was+is+will ever be. :smug:
Dafuq I typed pregged instead of pegged? Was sleepy I didn't notice, but it could easily be true anyway, given the cucked soyboy's peculiar "hobbies". :story:

So the cuck after being reminded of the supposed livestream with his first ex-wife he promised months ago, has promised once again to deliver said video since he "meets with her every Friday" which of course I'll hard press X on. Pitiful how he thinks he's winning daily yet keep on wasting his life away by stalking&harassing randoms on twitter daily be it day or night! :lit::lit::lit:

You forget that Ron's insurance is totally paying for it all though. Afterall insurance companies are known for their willingness to cut 6 figure cheques to cover totally legitimate claims like internet slapfights, right?

Does Ron think he’s “trolling the haters” when he lies about providing evidence and literally everyone knows he’s lying? Is he under the impression we believe him?

As long as he has his twitter cheerleaders, he'll believe any crap he spews. Sad part is, I think some of these twitter idiots are inspired to the same as him.

Oh yeah, they totally paid wick phillips bill. The lawyer just yelled at the judge for no reason.
