This might be a little off topic but I'm watching an argument in real time on my social media about someone getting pissed at another for calling violent protesters thugs. Keeps claiming it's a "racial slur". I've only ever heard far-left people claim that. No definition from actual dictionaries makes the connection to any specific race. Maybe, just maybe, equating the word thug to black people makes YOU the racist?

Nearly all the protesters / rioters are white or Jews, so not racial, unless cucked minions is a race.

It seems to me at this point nothing would fix America except a time machine, but let's say you had a time machine, what would be needed to be done to fix things?

First of all NO President Obama, no black President ever no matter who they are, a black President simply shone a too bright spotlight on race relations in America, it should have forever remained a "maybe one day" what if so the blissful ignorance could never be shattered by harsh reality, that's not fair but it's true.

Obama is a big reason why this is all happening I think, not solely due to his own actions, but just the fact of having a black President fundamentally changed things.

But Obama just so happened to coincidence with the other two things and that's...

Number 2, prevent the Great Recession, the Great Recession destroyed America's confidence in itself and called everything into question, not just the economy, but everything, that's why we had a revival in the Marxist way of thinking, people saw America as being fundamentally "broken" in a way only a radical solution could fix.

And number 3 clamp down on social media or prevent it's invention entirely, have your Facebook, Twitter etc install early a policy of no political content, keep it light with just photos of grandkids, cats, what you had for lunch and especially in the case of Twitter, photos of naked women.

The political power of social media allowed bad people to network and spread their ideas like never before.

The fact that all 3 of these things coincided at the exact same time, especially in the case of Obama, makes this almost seem like a supernatural Religious apocalypse to me, I mean what a coincidence, it's created the perfect storm of what may lead to the downfall of American society.

I feel that with Kyle Rittenhouse and now this, the violence is going to spiral out of control.
It was already off the rails when it came to property damage, but now it might devolve into open warfare of armed groups against each other, that open fire on sight. Shit is going to get nasty, I fear.

this is happening in places where the local authorities are actively allowing it to happen. as soon as they decide to crack down on the riots, end the protests by force, and arrest and persecute rioters, then this all ends within a few days at most.

it's fun to meme about it, but we really aren't seeing anything close to 'armed groups', only disorganized and chaotic mobs that are allowed to form due to an environment of lawlessness, occasionally with a (similarly disorganized) response from "counter protesters"

Its dangerously close to escalating to straight up fighting in the streets. This is how a civil war can start.

People will start organizing in to armed groups if people keep dying and the police continue to abdicate their role in keeping the peace.

It's weird that someone looking to execute Trump supporters would do it in the middle of the street, with other people around, taking out only a single one instead of going for a high score. They're right in front of a parking garage, they could have done it in there even easier, probably found his friends too.

Do we have audio of them trying this elsewhere?

Because if they tried this shit with multiple people, they'd probably miss their first shot out of nervousness around crowds then be lit up by someone on the other side whose open carrying. One guy can be isolated and gotten close to for an easier execution. As for why he did it on the street rather than the lot and yelled his plan out, he's an idiot.

The real lesson from both this and Kenosha is to never travel alone if you insist on being at these events. They will gladly assault individuals, but get more sheepish around large groups. It's one of their favored tactics to break up large groups and isolate individuals or small numbers for beatings.

I'm not prepared to say how the media will react to this come morning, especially given the lackluster spin for the Kenosha story. I can only hope that having a provable body count will dissuade the more casual rioters away. The devoted revolutionaries will go down with the ship if they must, but open murder of people in the street has killed support and driven casuals away from extremist groups in the past.

Things can start off small and snowball fast, the fact that things have declined to this point so fast over the last decade speaks to that, none of this shit was going on in 2010, now here we are the very edge of Civil War in 2020.
