As long as they don't fuck with Miku, Len, Rin, Kaito, the pink haired one, or any of the other original vocaloids from the late 2000s that I remember, they can do whatever the fuck they want with the new ones. Considering I haven't heard or seen anything about any Vocaloids besides the original ones either, so it seems like no one else really cares too.

The fandom has already fucked with the original vocaloids like miku so much that if they were real they would have been traumatised, they deserve a break.

But wouldn't someone above them look at that shit and say "Maybe we shouldn't be putting this out there"? Actually it's bit more retarded because writers didn't do a transitioning story but someone in marketing thought it was good idea to advise the episode as one. Then when it exploded and pr wasn't good at all. Of course many anti-woke thought that putting a tranny story in kids show was dumb but they weren't the loud ones. That was the trans actist who naturally got really pissed. They thought that story was insulting to trannies and wasn't true to their experiences, witch to be fair makes sense because it wasn't trans story. It was literally meant to be funny little story about unicorns, Bubbles learning not push others do something dangerous just because she wants something and introduction of new supporting characters, mainly Donny. It was all around cluster fuck and all that over an episode that wasn't even good regardless of the trans stuff.
