Can't wait to see what kind of spectacle he'll become after this entire Yandere Simulator charade ends.
He'll likely fade into obscurity fairly rapidly should the Yandere Simulator saga ever conclude since outside of being the "developer" of YanSim nobody has any reason whatsoever to give a shit about Alex. YanSim was Alex's moment in the spotlight to shine and show all of those doubters what he could accomplish and he instead chose to sit on his ass and do nothing for over half a decade.

History repeats, put in whatever I said last time he added stuff to the checklist and immediately marked it as completed.

It's weird as all hell how specific he is. Why 2,600 words? Why 17 minutes? Is he seriously that paranoid?
He rather writes "one other thing" or "completing a 2,600 word, 15,000 character essay that will take me 3 hours and 26 minutes."

I'm almost positive it's just development cargo culting at this point.

In my mind 505 or whichever publisher he was in talks with wanted progress reports and deliverables and slammed him for not having any sort of task management system. He looked up Trello and how to use it and skimmed the documentation to the point where he picked up the idea of 'making a task' and 'completing it' as well as grouping multiple subtasks into one card, but completely missed the point of why this would be useful at all instead of just busywork. The feeling of accomplishment humans get from making plans kicked in and here we are with simple one-person tasks that don't need to exist in the first place being split up, verbosely described and marked complete just so he can get that dopamine bump from checking the box and more asspats from his cronies applauding him for Doing Something.

I'm willing to bet if we ever get a full source leak after this point it's going to be filled with useless comments as well since this is another form of the same syndrome that you see in a ton of in amateur codebases where someone external to the project has complained about the lack of commenting.

Code:
i++; // increment i

etc.

oh man i cant wait to see what alex has done within these past few years trying to add osana
i get the feeling so many people are gonna give asspats to the dev to then encourage him to make hate and shame 2 and then release amai in another 6 or so years -_-

i hope if any large youtubers like pewds or markiplier even bothers to pick this up again, they make fun of it...

Here it is (it's 2020-08-31 12:00 PM PST):

And the blog post (which is literally just a link to the video):

How much you wanna bet there's a 100+ line C# script for the release date text that will still be in the demo release (like DateReverseScript)
