The thing about Destiny is that he's very logically consistent. Him taking this fight might somewhat financially hurt him but he doesn't really care. He has already argued with commies in the past and they fleed over to Vaush. And there weren't that little commies hiding in his audience (you can tell from Vaush's growth ever since then).

That's what I genuinely respect about Destiny. He rejects both : socialism and fascism ; and doesn't come across as a hypocrite in the process.

He also doesn't form a safe circle around him in order for his ideas not to be challenged. Unlike a lot of right and left leaning people.

See, Destiny is a unique blend of utter degeneracy and brilliant moments like these, so there's no redemption arc going on, not in the classical sense, it's just that he shifted his content from shitting on right-leaning people to shitting on left-leaning ones. He shat on Cenk's nephew, he regularly takes dumps on Vaush (1, 2), he triggered Peter Coffin out of his mind, when debating NonCompete (an anarchist loser who had to move to Vietnam to be less of a loser) he said that since commie Vietnam was too weak to defend itself it deserved to be bombed into stone age to NonComepete's retarded vietnamese waifu's face, he argued for use of slurs in private (for comedic purposes), he went on podcast with 2 troonies to argue that troons do indeed have a significant competitive advantage over women in sports

At the same time this is the guy who shat on JF for dating a younger chick, and being like "I would never date young chicks they're so dumb" only to dump his son on his mom and go to NZ to get into a polyamorous (read "cuck") relationship with a 20 yo chick a year later; he started a debate about how incest is morally neutral and considered that he proved the point by conjuring up the most far fetched hypothetical I've ever heard (2 gay siblings that have never groomed each other), he justified "ethical cp" because he found some research that apparently suggests that giving cp to pedos might prevent them from going after children, argued that skinning and torturing animals is morally neutral thing (Sangie would be happy, and yes he did argue for bestiality YMS style); while he did shit on Hasan, he's also the one who basically brought him on Twitch and gave him the initial boost (something he himself now regrets). And yes most of those are 2-3 years old, but there's no indication that he changed his mind on most of that shit. There is some evolution, of course. There was a point in time (somewhere around late 2018-early 2019) where he was veering farther left than he is right now - for example he used "there's more empty houses than homeless people" erm.. "argument" at some point, later he responded to the same argument made against him with "what does that have to do with homeless people, are you going to steal those houses?"

TL;DR/Conclusion: There's no redemption arc really, he's just doing what he always did which is running around exposing politspergs (right wing in the past, left wing now) for adopting positions not because they've thought them through, but because that's the opinion you need to have to get in on the circlejerk
