A DC Metropolitan Police helicopter had to make an emergency landing on Saturday night as it was hit by laser pointers shined at it by rioters.

A law enforcement source tells the District Herald that one of the crew members had to be hospitalized due to vision loss in one eye.

There were multiple helicopters circling throughout the area all evening to keep track of the rioters.

I will say this because it's generic enough to not be a powerlevel.

Prior to 2020, I was one of those guys that never owned a gun because I was 100% convinced I'd be more likely to shoot myself with it than an actual intruder.

Now, well probably not right now but in a couple of years, I will probably get a gun safe and at least have a few sessions at a gun range just so I know how handguns work.
