I know, he had to practically beg us (me and one other dude) to do it at first. It freaked us out, until he explained it, and even then it takes some getting used to, pummeling a friend to help him condition. I have great respect for boxers.
I do some boxing shit
(hitting the bag and running 3 miles a day ect)
but that takes the cake

When he decided to start boxing, he was kinda obsessed, and did tons of research, and talked me and other dude mentioned's ear off at length. He got books and DVDs, and applied himself like I never would have imagined. And the results speak for themselves. Its legit scary to see a big dude move that fast and with so much force. He doesn't box anymore, but he still works out almost as much, if hes a bit softer around the edges these days.

But enough about that, back to the chimpouts.

His shitposting is about the only thing he's done that I find to be worth while. He's done a couple of things within the past 6 months involving h1-b Visas in Tennessee and some other actually pertinent things for the White working class, but aside from that he's just been the standard, middle of the road do nothing conservative, no matter how much people on YouTube try to proliferate ideas that he's done so many things that haven't been reported on.
Trump did manage to get some tax reform passed while the Republicans held both parts of Congress. Unfortunately, infighting within the party hindered Trumps hopes of accomplishing much else; more-so once the Dems took back one of the chambers.

But that's probably true of any president in the same situation. Obama dealt with this during his first term where several of his promises never came to be due to infighting and losing the majority he had in both chambers.

Still, it's amusing when Dems and other Trump critics take his shitposts literally and freak out over them. Sure, Trump may take the shitposting too far sometimes, but it's entertaining to see his political foes going batshit crazy over the least serious posts he makes.

A law enforcement source tells the District Herald that one of the crew members had to be hospitalized due to vision loss in one eye.
NGL, shit like this should be deemed domestic terrorism and anyone caught and convicted of doing it need to rot somewhere until there's nothing left but their skeleton.

I think that's what most people want. Stability.
That's the biggest concern, I think. When the President or state governors don't have full control of their legislatures, they often try to impose their desired policies via executive order. The first thing an opposing leader does upon taking office is to sign new orders that rescind those previous orders and cause chaos in the process. The lack of stability for stuff that should be enshrined in passed/signed bills sucks and probably plays a big part in most of the partisan posturing we see now.

I mean it's possible she was never close enough to anyone who died to bother even a polite attendance of a funeral.
It's also possible that their parents treated them like snowflakes and refused to expose them to death in an appropriate way -- especially given the overall lack of coping skills seen today. Those of us old enough might remember how the actor that player Mr. Hooper on Sesame Street died and how the show decided against silently writing out the character in favor of having the character die as well and having the cast do an episode where the finality of death was presented in an age-appropriate way. Now, death is seen as some horrible, traumatizing thing that requires counselors to swoop in and provide some sort of affirmation as opposed to the appropriate lessons on how to deal with the reality of death and dying.

I like that Trump announcing well in advance and talking to governors and mayors is "secret police." Even the word "secret" is losing meaning.

If Trump was sending in secret police, people would be getting black-bagged and vanned for starting these "protests."
If anyone in authority dispatched secret police, nobody would have any advance warning due to the secret aspect of the policing.

I wouldn't be surprised if fire fighters started doing the same, or at least vote for him privately.
This may be a situation where the Union simply refuses to endorse a candidate as they prefer not to endorse Republicans if they can help it. I can easily see the Union sitting on the fence publicly with a refusal to endorse which really means "We don't like the Democratic candidate. We can't actively endorse the opponent, but we trust you to vote appropriately *wink wink nudge nudge*."

The reason I finally joined after lurking for so long.
I finally signed up because I wanted someplace to share thoughts and opinions where they won't be automatically seen as wrongthink or a cancellable offense against humanity.

While I'm not going to hop aboard the doomer train, the escalating violence this weekend is concerning as is the fact Antifa and Allies are going to places such as Rhode Island and Nebraska. Let's hope based locales take cues form Detroit's Chief Craig and Colorado's Chief and let those people know their violence isn't welcome.

You might be surprised at how much protein is in other meals. A couple eggs have ~20g, a small serving of tendies has ~30g. Focus on higher protein foods + a protein shake/smoothie, and you will easily hit 100+g.
There's still 80g left to go, though, and I've already gorged myself on protein. I enjoy meat, but unless I'm in full Brazilian Steakhouse mode I need more variety than all chicken breast all the time.

Whoever keeps saying these riots are "peaceful" is either blind, naive, ignorant, or just plain lying. They even outright SAID they don't want peace.

Whoever is saying civil war is happening, jokingly or not, STOP. Just drop it. Because you don't know what you're wishing for if that happens. It's not funny. It's not clever. It's just devastating to see countrymen want to destroy their own country to prove a point.

It may be sad. It may be awful and crushing to think that civil war is coming, but honestly at this point, people aren't saying it just for a crass joke. It's because it seems possible that things are passing critical mass. I don't want civil war, but I recognize that events are pushing closer towards it, and that worries me.

Everybody needs to chill the fuck out and calm down!

Wait a minute, I thought it was only property and the insurance will pay for everything.

Skyrocketing demolition costs for riot-damaged properties delay rebuilding
https://www.startribune.com/skyrock...amaged-properties-delay-rebuilding/572269302/ (https://archive.vn/GG8Zd)

Excerpt (full text at link):
One day after rioters destroyed the Sports Dome retail complex in St. Paul, a construction crew hired by the city knocked the building down because it was dangerously unstable.

Then the city presented the property owners with a $140,000 bill for what it would cost to haul away the debris.

“We were really upset about that,” said property owner Jay Kim, whose insurance policy covers a maximum of $25,000 in demolition costs. “We thought that was high. But we didn’t know how much demolition would cost at the time.”

“I think that is price-gouging and they should contact the attorney general,” said Andrea Jenkins, vice president of the Minneapolis City Council. “That is a symbol of capitalism run amok.”

Oh, really? That's an interesting take on the situation. Let's find out the cause of the high price.

Contractors acknowledge that prices for riot-related work are far higher than usual, but they said that is because government regulations require them to treat all debris from a burned-out building as hazardous. Industry veteran Don Rachel said those rules can double demolition costs.

Well look at that. I'm willing to bet that someone like Andrea Jenkins probably supports regulations and environmental policies that cause those prices to skyrocket. Let's see who this woman is and what her politics are...

Andrea Jenkins
(born 1961) is an American policy aide, politician, writer, performance artist, poet, and transgender activist. She is known for being the first black openly transgender woman elected to public office in the United States,[1] serving since January 2018 on the Minneapolis City Council.

Jenkins is one of three Minneapolis City Council members who voted to dismantle the city's police department, and afterwards began using private security for protection.[19]

How shocking! A hypocritical troon who blames everything on capitalism. I've never seen one of those before!

These bullies have gotten away with bullying unabated for 3 months. Now one brave Zoomer has dared to push back; look at their shock, their disbelief, their horror at being defied.

You just love to see it.

Oliver Darcey is one shadowy fuck who must have been descended from the cunts that ran SAVAK during the Shah of Iran days.

A cup of cottage cheese is nearly 30g, Greek yogurt has 10-15g per serving. Gotta diversify, my dude.

Who cares at this point honestly? Minneapolis is deep blue; they need to lie in the bed they've made.

They're the ones who voted for crazy, leftist black trannies to lead their government just to feel smug about themselves. You get what you vote for!

Ah yes, Trump is winning by not doing anything and pretending Biden is President. Very powerful message.
He weighed it against going in and decided it was better "optics" to let the city degrade, as if saving the city wouldn't get him more support among people whose opinion matters and are desperate. Not to mention he has a responsibility to protect people if their local governance is corrupt. I agree he's made a mistake and as an aside happens to look bad.
