It's also possible that their parents treated them like snowflakes and refused to expose them to death in an appropriate way -- especially given the overall lack of coping skills seen today. Those of us old enough might remember how the actor that player Mr. Hooper on Sesame Street died and how the show decided against silently writing out the character in favor of having the character die as well and having the cast do an episode where the finality of death was presented in an age-appropriate way. Now, death is seen as some horrible, traumatizing thing that requires counselors to swoop in and provide some sort of affirmation as opposed to the appropriate lessons on how to deal with the reality of death and dying.

I noticed that in my childhood in the US, parents and teachers tried their damnest to make sure kids didn't know of death and forbade them to even utter such viles words (like saying you didn't die in a game, you merely lost a chance to win) and TV shows would censor death or extremely downplay it by making sure that everything comes out ok in the end.
Such brushing over of death I think has lead to the coddled generation of today that doesn't know how to deal with death and bawls their eyes out whenever a celebrity like it's the end of the world.

Oh there are good black people. A good black person for a boss is better then a good white person. The owner where I worked told my black supervisor to do something rather illegal. So my supervisor told the owner to go fuck himself and if the owner really wanted it done go do it himself.
It was a sight to behold.

My role model growing up for work ethic was a friend of mine who is black. He basically rejected the gang shit his family had done and proceeded to use his work as a way of getting away from them. Did it so long he ENJOYs working. 10 years later of voluntarily taking every bit of overtime offered, he has his own house, has taken several exotic vacations, and his net worth is more than his entire family's combined.

I keep thinking of him, and how utterly he must hate this shit. It helps keep me from going full nutso.

Would be a hilarious origin story that Kyle became a white supremacist (I don’t think he’s at that level yet but maybe someday) after being beaten by a black man for protecting his family.

Kyle acts and is what, 17? His parents taught him right but thats about it. Greta is extremely young nad should not be talking the way she talks. Not only that but it is so clear that she's being puppeted along where as Kyle doesn't seem to have been encouraged/ strung along by his own folks.

This is the laziest argument on offer. Comparing your enemy to ISIS is so fucking easy because you just have to find 3 parallels and then boom, your opposition is dehumanised.
But I'll tell you something else, the ISIS-Trump comparison listed doesn't strike a cord because everybody can tell slavery and ethnic cleansing are on a completely different order of magnitude to, say, going to a church that imposes constructive values like having children within wedlock.

But ironically some of the things that make ISIS uniquely evil? They actually are shared by the radical left. A lot of the seething hatred for ISIS could be just as easily pointed towards the state of Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan, and not skip a beat... whereas it's as though antifa go out of their way to be some sort of leftist tribute to ISIS-- executing American patriots in the streets, abject lawlessness wherever they go, completely spitting on the most basic human rights of anybody that disagrees with them, running around masked threatening hostages to recite the correct words (wahabbist fatwas/BLM slogans) and this isn't even touching the cultural vandalism-- in terms of ruining communities, minority trust, and iconic history. That arson attack on the Richmond museum comes to mind.
