They can't release them until they find a plausible way to doctor the fact that Joe got no convention bump, and Trump did, and now has a likely 3 point lead overall and maybe even a 5 point lead in Wisconsin ATM.
And that's a bridge too far for even Nate Silver.
People got a GOOD long look at Biden and only the TDSers can keep ignoring the obvious mental decline..... it was never about platform, just "he's not Trump" but even moderate Democrats have to ask themselves at this point, "Yeah, he's not Trump, but he's brain-dead, he has no idea where he is, what he's doing, can I really vote for THAT?"

Joe turning on fracking is a very noticeable thing to me as a Pennsylvanian. That's an Original Xbox HUEG deal there. So the fact that he is scrambling to let it back in to his administration is definite pandering.
Also i've noticed something rather disturbing about the Tweets Biden and Kopmala have been putting out (K would know all about that): They're starting to basically be threats. Between Biden saying can we take more violence, to Kamala basically saying the violence wont stop on one of the late shows if she loses, they're starting to get emotional. There's good news in that though: appealing to emotion is the last resort for people losing. And judging by their internal polling, outer polling, and at this rate, stripper polling for the amount of dignity and self respect for their own ideals getting thrown in the gutter for votes, they are scared.
Speaking of terrible ideas, why hasn't Trump run on the fact that during a year when gun sales were through the roof, he isn't shitting on Bidens shotgun comment, or the fact that he is probably the most anti-gun candidate ever run by the DNC?

The strategists at Camp Biden know that with millions of new gun owners out there, and the progressives of their own party calling to abolish cops, the standard "you dont' need to own guns, only savages and bunker-dwellers do that, just leave it to the cops" message is a non-starter. People who'd normally never own guns or think about owning them now DO own them, and the usual canned-ads about "Gun ownership violent and wrong" that they'd have never noticed or nodded in approval of 4 years ago, now will turn them against the Party as the last thing they want upon finally getting self-protection is being told "Now hand it back".
Note that while the media deployed their standard ISO-9000 lie that Rittenhouse had an "assault weapon' , they didn't call for more gun laws or background checks or bans or whatever, because even THEY know that trying that angle is a losing prospect when, thanks to the clusterfuck people like Wheeler and Lightfoot have made of their cities, the "that'll never happen" scenario of the anti-2A crowd, a defense against mass civil unrest the cops can't stop, CAME TRUE.
Trump doesn't have to say it because he doesn't have to, until/unless Joe has a senile moment and blurts it out during debates...
Gun control, for once, isn't even a top ten issue for voters

It sucks saying it, but I reckon the only way you're going to see the left losing the loonies, is for them to win a couple elections. Wrong. If you want these people to die out, they need to stop being coddled by the Dem party. The Justice Democrats have already cost elections to the DNC in places like California. You don't teach a dog to stop shitting on the carpet by saying: "Oh it's ok buddy, i'll give you a few treats, don't try it again ok?". If Trump makes a comment expect a media deepfake soon after. If Trump goes out and says Biden's gun-grabbing is bad because then homeowners can't defend themselves, they could misconstrue it into 'Trump WANTS his supporters to SHOOT peaceful protesters'.
Everybody knew Trump's biggest opponent in 2020 would be the media, but with the Dems running with Biden its even more acute. The dude isn't even campaigning for God's sake.

What good are guns if using them in any self-defense situation lands you in jail? The law is very clear but eventually they'll get lucky with a case and try to ram through a precedent that whoever brought the gun to the rodeo is responsible for everything bad.
2A is staying, and Biden's team will be very hush hush about their intentions, but expect the next decade to be laying the groundwork for a new argument. It won't be "You don't need a gun", it'll be "Taking that thing out off the rack is illegal so why bother having it?"
