This stream is still going on. They've been marching around for a while and just came back to the sheriff's station at:
1310 W. Imperial Highway, Los Angeles, California 90044

A couple of minutes they tore the plastic tape down and are provoking the cops. Shit may go down soon. Keep an eye on this, they're getting agitated and more brave, almost touching the cops and their rifles.

edit: the asshole with the bullhorn is very annoying, make sure your volume is turned down

I don't think MLK ever tried to provoke a response outside of showing up and agitating. I wonder if the cops know that they're being baited because they're not even trying to talk back.

I'm going to do the unthinkable and defend Hi Points. Theres some words I never thought I'd type....

A lot of people I know got guns for the first time, and a frankly absurd number got Hi Points, both new and used. I had the... misfortune of being the one to teach a lot of these people to shoot, and got familiar with each of their guns. This has lead to some interesting observations about Hi Points.

The used ones seemed to be largely former gang banger weaponry, I didn't ask too much about how they got them. They were trash, barely worth the metal they were made out of. The new ones though, which i expected to be just a couple of points above trash were.... actually fairly solid. A bit of inspection of the more used guns later and I came to an understanding.
A lot of the bad rep Hi points get is probably do to a former past of bad maintenance, which makes their cheaper construction go to absolute hell. But if you were to maintain one of them decently, like actually maintain it, the thing would act as a really good cheap starter gun or just a cheap home defense gun. The new ones didn't have any unusual quirks or extreme reliability issues. They just... felt cheap as shit.

I'd guess there are 60-80 cops and about a group of 30 or so protestors who were in the lot. They're all a bunch of pussies and actually moved back to the sidewalk. The cops just advanced to the edge of the sidewalk and the cops announced they have to clear the area.

The idiot with the megaphone said let's get out of here and walked off down the sidewalk.

He’s the police commissioner (in addition to being mayor) and hasn’t completely disbanded the police yet. Their demands are below. They honestly make no sense because he’s supposed to resign immediately but also commit to reducing the police budget by 50%?
