They always try to find a way to rationalize rape as something else. Clinton's victims were gold-digging whores. Migrants in Europe simply have cultural misunderstandings, because "don't put your penis in people who don't want it there" is a peculiar idiosyncrasy of the Western European mindset. Roman Polanski didn't commit "rape rape" when he was forcibly copulating with the rear end of an underage girl whom he had drugged, while she told him to stop. It was some lesser type of rape, maybe not rape at all. (Someone should not-rape-rape Whoopi Goldberg, in a persistent online virtual world.)
My personal feminist lolcows haven't commented on Jacob "Finger Lickin' Good" Blake, which is funny, because he's a black man shot by the police and that's the one thing they love almost as much as themselves. I might have to poke them and see if they moo.
Rittenhouse did bring to the forefront one of the serious dangers of open carry. Yes, he had the right, but it almost got him killed because the mob went after the gun they saw, not the one they did not.
This serious danger is often talked about, but it seems to be uncommon, and I'm not sure it happened here. We don't know what sparked the initial confrontation, but it seems to be related to someone extinguishing the dumpster fire. Rittenhouse carried the fire extinguisher and/or looked like the person who used it. That initial shooting was an isolated confrontation between Rittenhouse and Rosenbaum. The mob attacked after he stopped Chomo Joe, and they would have done that irrespective of whether the firearm had been concealed before he shot him.
Open carrying probably bought him some time by deterring all but the most insane child abusers; if he had not been openly armed, he might have been attacked earlier in the night, by more people. But I will concede, given a large enough crowd of insane child abusers--and it seems every protest constitutes such a gathering--the deterrent effect might be vanishingly small.
Has there been a toxicology report done for rosenbaum or going to be? At 23:20 rosenbaum is trying to fight people and gets in a scuffle with a militia guy. Rosenbaum did some serious time and I guarantee he targeted Rittenhouse because he appeared the weakest and easiest to isolate. He was clearly looking to start shit. You also can see something in that bag looks heavy af.
Given his prison record, he might have filled the bag up himself.
