I think I said it somewhere before, but when I was in high school, this 25-year-old used to hang out with us and buy us booze, and I thought he was the biggest badass ever. When I was 25, I realized that a 25-year-old who hangs out with 16 and 17-year-olds is a fucking loser. I assume it's a similar situation. I as a 36-year-old think a guy around my age who gets shitfaced with 20-year-olds is a loser, but the 20-year-olds probably think he's cool.

As I and most people age you mellow out, also you gain more life experience etc etc.


Now when older people can reach across the age divide it can ether be cool or cringy. like lets say your an adult and you play with some kids like "HEY LETS BUILD SOMETHING COOL OUT OF LEGOS" hell i ve talked with a friends newphews about teen titans go and fourtnight and they often ask about me. Adults have adulting to do and bring yourself down to a kids level is not alot of peoples first choice of a way to spend free time.

A 30 year old with a kid and career isnt gonna spend free time dealing with college age people they are just in different places in so many ways.

But add in NEET ism and arested devolpment and you get some very fucked up situations.

I will add one benifit to having older and younger people hang. I ve seen it first hand and online. Younger person has to deal with something new, and older person can clue them in on the ins and outs and what mistakes they ve made, basically be almost a mentor.

I think there's a real market for a site that you would give money to that would then automatically use that money to buy BTC and then help you move it into someone registered creator's crypto wallet. No. I think the increasing patreon income with decreasing views and subscribers makes perfect sense as he's shifting his product from a funny show for anyone to a parasocial club for his island of misfit toys. I would say Dax seems too involved for it to be hanging out or being mentorly, but I don't pay that much attention to him. It's just the perception I have. The thing is, there are already Ethereum tokens that have built-in recurring payment mechanisms, and smart contracts that can do the same thing.
