U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Remember those bomb threats and the odd railroad interference happening in and around Minneapolis? About an hour ago, a main highway - 35W - was shut down so the bomb robot could pick up an unknown object on the shoulder. Some Twitter replies are speculating that it looks like a claymore with its legs folded.

Trucking company leverages business against 'defund the police' movement in Minneapolis
JKC Trucking co-owner Mike Kucharski says trucks won't go to cities without police forces.

A trucking company owner told Fox News on Wednesday that in order to keep drivers safe, he will not direct services to cities that are pushing to defund the police.

“Our first priority is to support our drivers and their safety when they are on the road,” co-owner of JKC Trucking Mike Kucharski told “Fox & Friends First.”

Kucharski said that defunding the police is a bad idea because drivers carry valuable cargo on the road for weeks.
“Everybody wants to steal this,” Kucharski said.

PORTLAND POLICE OVERTIME PAY EXCEEDED $5.3M SINCE PROTESTS STARTED

A soon-to-be-released survey of 258 police departments nationwide shows almost half have had their budgets cut amid calls for police to be defunded despite increases in gun violence and otherwise violent crime in some parts of the country, according to USA Today.

The outlet was first to report that the Police Executive Research Forum publication, which is expected to be released in the coming days, shows cuts in the police budgets are largely being made to training and equipment.

WHAT ARE THE MAJOR POLICE UNIONS?
Protesters are pushing to “defund the police” over the death of George Floyd and other Black Americans killed by law enforcement.

Floyd died after a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, held his knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes despite Floyd’s several shouts that he couldn’t breathe. Floyd was handcuffed at the time.

Kucharski said that his company is also avoiding states pushing to defund the police because his insurance coverage is prone to dissolve.

“Another issue that I am seeing in the future is I have cargo insurance, liability insurance, fiscal damage insurance, and I am very curious how when I renew my contracts at the end of the year, if there is going to be language -- if I am going to even have coverage going into these places,” Kucharski said.

“Right now I have coverage going all over domestically. You have to get special coverage for Canada or Mexico or you might have to buy special riders for this on top of everything.”

So what are the odds that Joe Biden says something offensive tomorrow during his trip to Kenosha? He must be desperate af because every time he talk to someone black he fucks up and says something actually racist. Only time he hasn’t recently was when he talked to Cardi B (who might be even more mentally disabled than he is).

I’m still trying to catch up from a hundred pages back, friends. But wouldn’t it be perfect to test some bioweapon in Portland, Minecraftia? The only thing it would do is show up as a spike in coronavirus and remove some criminal elements.

It’s so perfect I’m glad it hasn’t happened. I wouldn’t have questioned it one bit.

This post glows so hard I'm getting skin cancer

You know what the media should absolutely do? Or Hell, even Tim Pool if we can get him out of his studio. Find and interview these people's parents.

Seriously, this would absolutely be a gold mine. I imagine they would be a mix of decent people who are just heart-broken and confused over how their kid turned out like this (hint: college); and those that you'd absolutely expect to be the parents of people like this.

100% this would be a tremendously powerful way of de-powering any glamour that Antifa has for some people.

I have a feeling that the Feds will be speaking with said parents. And possibly locking down or seizing bank accounts and property as material support for terrorism.

Catching up from last night, so forgive please if this has been posted.
The Kenosha rioters have filed a lawsuit stating that their 1st Amendment rights were violated with curfews.

Also, Biden has a new ad out and every single person in it is black.

So the rioters have just made themselves named identifiable parties in court? Who may in turn be sued by the destroyed Kenosha businesses. I see this as a win.

Sounds like my now persona non grata cousin. A little PL but she is the hipster douche type that teaches at a community college and has spoken at a Tedx event so basically an exit bag with her own flatulence.

So as an instructor, she is a bitch about her comments demanding you can only cite legitimate sources and journal articles. So I jumped in on the Rayshard Brooks shooting.

I use the D.A. TV conference, transcripts to prove that Rayshard fired the TASER at the officer. She then shifts from the TASER being empty to the cop didn't have to shoot him.

Fine. I cite shooting studies that find that once a person has indentefied a threat and made the decision to shoot, it is nearly impossible to stop that action in one to two seconds.

Her response to my scientific citation based on lab tests? She cites a fucking blog post with zero academic citations.

These people might claim to be objective but they are immune to evidence they do not like.

You may want to let her know that Police Tasers have 2 shots. Ray shard fired the first shot, incapacitating one officer and leaving him with a concussion from his head striking the ground. He fired his second shot at the second officer as the officer was shooting him. If Rayshard’s second shot had hit the officer he would have disabled both cops and had access to their firearms. Any assumption of peaceful intent ended when he seized the officers weapon.

I’m pretty sure they have been testing chemical agents in Portland for years.m

Incredible thread documenting all of Reinoehl's presence during Keese Love's assault on Haner. Does someone have the means to archive Militant Mom's whole stream from that night?

It looks like kitty was using the stream from the 16th found here:

It's uploading to Mega now, I'll edit the link in.

Less than half a mile from the intersection of MLK Jr. Ave and Malcolm X Ave... SE DC is a shithole. They apparently recovered firearms on the scene and will release the bodycam footage within 72 hours, so the odds of rioting next weekend just skyrocketed.

Article:
Police Chief Peter Newsham said that officers were investigating reports of people sitting in a vehicle with guns. When officers got near the car, Newsham said several suspects got out and fled on foot, at which point an officer fired their weapon, striking one of the fleeing suspects.

Newsham would not comment on why the officer shot while the suspect was running away, saying that an investigation into the shooting would be conducted.

Newsham said the the deceased was “what we believe to be an adult male.”

Police said two guns were recovered from the scene of the shooting.

I've run into the 'hurr durr landlords' socialists before, and it's not the complete picture, because after hurr durring about landlords, they also included business owners. From what I was able to gather, their general belief is that people who own and rent property and people who own businesses are doing nothing but sitting around jerking off all day while the oppressed people send them rent and/or slave away in their businesses to make them money. Therefore they are evil and need to be brought low by the bright communist future. Because apparently people who own property or start companies did so with magical money that fell from the sky and never did an ounce of work in their lives to actually have earned it.

So keep an eye out, I'm betting that in addition to FUCK LANDLORDS you'll soon see FUCK BUSINESSES creeping in. Which will also not go over well for dems, as the US as a whole has a fair soft spot for small business owners.

That's about the gist of it. They don't view the work that business owners/management does as actual work or of equal importance to "workers". They incorrectly believe owners/management are "middlemen", completely ignoring what it takes to actually run a business and all of the shit that needs to be done to keep it going, competitive, and healthy.

It's a black hole to them because the have absolutely no idea what actually goes into it, so they pretend like it doesn't exist and isn't important. So the only things that do exist to them is the work/production and the consumers getting the product.

If you try to explain it to them, they ignore it because them not understanding the business side of things is willful ignorance. Which is why these chucklefucks should never be put in charge of anything, let alone politics.

They'll "good intention" us straight into abject poverty and mass famine.

And here goes the racism...

NYC gets $7 billion a year in federal aid yet lower boroughs in NYC have issues with violence and crime? How???

Also, why would you cut federal funding in the nation's capital? How does that work?

Not all of the funding would necessarily be pointed at law enforcement, and it bears to reason that it's prone to the same waste and embezzlement as the regular police budget.

NYC's problem is that it doesn't seem to want to settle in the middle. It took a very hard stance under Guliani and Bloomberg that arguably went too far - but one could see that as a necessary, temporary overstep to restore a semblance of order, from which you could gradually loosen the pressure and devolve responsibilities / community outreach. Instead, its current chief dingbat decided to roll almost everything back without any meaningful community outreach, to the point where it's frequently under-budgeted, under-staffed, over-worked, and hamstrung from tactics that might serve as even mild deterrents. Especially lately.

It's likely that Trump will be able to argue that certain amounts of federal funding are contingent on certain behaviors from the cities themselves, and the cities' current waste and policy violate the spirit or the word of those disbursements. If he's got a task force combing through all of the riot footage, he's likely got a legal task force combing through the terms of those federal payments. (Or he's putting the cart before the horse, and will realize he needs to get one of those to stand up to the inevitable lawsuits.)

Not to downplay the concerns of the irrelevant blowhard regional trucking company owner with a fleet of a couple hundred but if insurers bugging out because you might maybe serve high crime areas was a thing we would have seen it years ago. Not staying long in crime ridden areas and/or only going in during daylight hours was how you did trucking way before this nonsense kicked off. You get in then get out. Cities are no places for trucks.

What I see happening, that isn't even touched on here, is trucking companies and their insurers getting together a class action lawsuit for damages against those responsible for blocking the interstates. They sue the crap out of DOTs all the time for weather related road closures and construction running behind schedule etc. Letting mobs close major transportation corridors and organizing said mobs should be open to the same liabilities.

It took a very hard stance under Guliani and Bloomberg that arguably went too far - but one could see that as a necessary, temporary overstep to restore a semblance of order, from which you could gradually loosen the pressure and devolve responsibilities / community outreach.
At this point, NYC CAN'T afford to go in the middle anymore. Cuomo or Blasio whoever is bringing NYC back to the 70s where it needed Guliani for a number of years to get NYC relatively safe again for tourism. They did that to themselves. They can't even take care of their poorer communities even BEFORE Covid.

I'll admit I'm not sure what defunding the shitty cities is going to accomplish since it's not like the ones running those places are going to cut their own paychecks to make room in the budget for parks or community centers and things. Maybe it's to send a message to the not-yet-burned-down places that if this BLM shit starts up, they'd better stop it right away or else?
Yes, it is a deterrent; get in line or no cash for you. They did sort of the same thing with highway funds when IL had a drinking age of 21 and WI had the age at 18 way back in the 80's, and the national drinking age of 21 was established. They called the WI/IL border "Blood Border," and I knew a family who lost their only two sons (whom I went to school with) to drunk driving. They denied funds to Wisconsin until eventually the drinking age went to 19, then 21 the next year. (Of course I missed the cutoff each year by just days. Of course).
