I understand where you and other realists/segros are going with this, but fact is, you watched the Reinoehl interview right? Dude was Hitler's wet dream to look at and yet he was full on the wrong side, fanatically so. And therefore, I think a person just cannot judge on race or, even necessarily tribe, alone. There needs to be some more substance and nuance to it. I want the best person for the job, not the whitest or blackest.

Land is cheap out here and it's really pretty. Also, there's a kind of western code of behavior. Everybody minds their business. People try not to interfere with each other.

The liberal areas tend to be in Colorado and New Mexico.

Although, gotta say, I do miss those black folks sometimes. The music scene is dismal, the restaurants are limited and all you get is spics and crackers pretty much everywhere. No ocean or lakes, either.

I would like to point out that at the time, there were two Popeyes in Rochester. So when they talk about driving to Lake Avenue from Penfield, that's 11-13 miles one way.

Just because Popeye's had an 8 piece for $4.99 special.

And there's at least 2-3 KFCs in the city as well.

My city is special.

It's not only NYC. Its Albany, Boston, Philadelphia, DC, Worcester, Providence, Manchester. Its swarmed the West Coast too, but the North East Coast has been fucked for generations now, and its only getting worse. My older neighbors, who have always leaned more progressive and liberal, find it appalling that these kids wanna abolish the police, because they know the consequences for their communities. They understand what the protestors are doing. They have been given an excuse and they are getting away with it. But we've been blue for far too long, it will never change. To our elected leaders, we are obedient dogs who will never bite the hand that feeds us, because no matter what, we'll always vote blue.
