Netflix's "Cuties" - The Preteen Sexual Objectification Equivalent of "Funny Games"

Its because they want children and pretend that's a child. Not to mention if its children they know it is risky.

That's why when you call someone a pedophile, be careful about it. These are the lengths they will go. That's why I say someone who is a pedophile will always seek out child pornography. No matter how fucked they go about it. And they probably used small bodied or breasted porn stars for it. Don't ask me. Loli is easier, but you can clearly see they want children, no matter the length they do to get it. Its very, very fucked. I mean, that's why you have pedos going to playgrounds and just watching and jerking off. Because they interpret normal children playing as sexual. That's how deep this runs. No amount of drawings are going to instigate that sort of behavior.

I've read upon a lot of this stuff. After finding out pedophilia is not an orientation. Which media seems to be fine covering for. I made a logical argument. If there was a 20 year old that looked like a 10 year old. Would you be interested? Yet I was met with silence. While the pro-pedophilia articles kept on coming "PEDOS NEED KIDS" while ignoring there's a perfect substitute right there. Which flies in the face of human biology. If a Woman is hot, guys will have sex with her, doesn't matter if shes 16 or 60. You talk to a pedo? It has to be kids. That convinced me it didn't operate under the parameters of sexual orientation.

I hate something like Cuties for how it was made (real 3D children) and what it represents (normalizing pedophilia and the sexualization of real 3D children). I hate it even more for pulling on my principles. I am 100% against censorship in all forms, always have been, always will be. And now, should Cuties get memory holed?

No. It's packaged and done. Now that it's out there, keep it as such. Carry on with the release date. But those responsible must lie in the bed they made.

Of all the porn that's out there, you decide that jaundiced cartoon characters with alligator mouths is what gets your rocks off?

Because that was the least objectionable porn he had.

Imagine someone getting into a shootout with the police in front of an elementary school; he flees across the street before he gets shot down. The headlines read "SHOT FOR JAYWALKING." That's what we're talking about.

Why?

It just makes headlines.

I've heard people say "oh it's not about sexualizing children it's about women's liberation!"

No, having 12 year olds perform overtly sexual displays (twerking) is absolutely sexualizing children.

You can't hunt down a child in a drawing and rape them.

You're also not exploiting real children by drawing loli either.

For all we know, the marketing is purposefully designed to piss people off and generate buzz and the actual product is heavily critical of sexualization of kids.

Yes and no. Remember perception is reality. 50 shades of grey was meant as a vanilla's intro into the BDSM community until said community reasonably pointed out it was glorifying an abusive relationship between the two protagonists. In the same vein, outrage over having kids display themselves in a sexual matter is justified no matter how the director intended. In fact, I'd argue the onus is on her to realize her work would cause this backlash.

He'd destroyed the hardcore stuff, so it would have been difficult to prove. Somehow, he knew a raid was coming. I'm not sure of the background of the case, but possibly because whatever circle of perverts he was in suddenly went offline, or got busted, or something. Anyway, they had him actually plead to the stuff in his possession, although that may not have been easy to prove was actually illegal. Some of it was the cartoon porn that made the clickbait headline, but some was "child erotica" that is not, per se, definitely illegal, but can be illegal depending on the circumstances.

Since the circumstances look like he was probably in some group trading much worse material and somehow the prosecutors knew he'd destroyed content of that sort, while not having it to present at trial, it would present a somewhat tough time for the prosecutors, hence the relatively lenient plea deal on material that there was only a fairly flimsy argument was even illegal.

I don't know if the plea deal prohibited appealing it, but that's also one of those questionable things. Neither side really wanted the case litigated, though. If they could prove he had actually possessed the content he'd destroyed, which is actually possible to do even without it, if the prosecutors have witnesses and are determined enough to go ahead, the guy would have gone away for a long, long time.

So he isn't just some innocent guy who got busted for stupid shit and got unfairly treated, which you might take away from it if all you read was the clickbait articles about it.

Has anyone actually this movie that we're all angry about? It's strange that a movie about an 11 yr old who joins a twerk team that was released at one of the biggest independent film festivals in January is only now getting talked about now because of a shitty NetFlix poster and subsequent trailer. From what little information I can find, it seems like the kid is caught between both extremes. It's either joining the 11 yr old twerk team or being an 5th housewife against your will against a polygamist marriage (if you're lucky, you don't get the FGM "treatment"). I don't feel the need to virtue signal about how being a pedo is morally reprehensible and is completely unjustifiable. Maybe I'll see it when it comes out or maybe not.

If anything, i think people should watch this movie or at the very least, be aware about it, it might be a good thing in the long run, we have all seen how things have been in the last couple of years, dozens of articles trying normalize pedophilia (not to mention all the scandals involving Hollywood) and i want to believe, this movie could be "the straw that broke the camel's back", a lot of people are going to see this movie, a lot of people will be rightfully disgusted by this movie, who knows, maybe a lot of people will cancel their subscription to Netflix after this movie, hopefully this whole shitshow will make normies to finally wake up, and realize that people in positions of power have been using the entertainment industry to try to normalize pedophilia for the last decade, so there will be a more aggressive push back next time a "why being a pedo is a good thing" article gets published.

Oh, I didn't realize he destroyed it. Sometimes these groups will have tip-offs you know, one gets raided and goes 'WERE GONNA GET FUCKING VANNED" and he DFE. So yeah, it isn't that.

In fact, most cases involving people getting arrested for drawings are almost always accompanied by massive amounts of child porn. And they're caught by the child porn, not by the drawings. The one exception is this guy was importing loli manga from Japan and the Postal Service busted him. But again, he was tried on obscenity, not child pornography. Unfortunately, he had a shitty public defender who made him plea guilty, but by the time the Comic Book Defense fund could get competent lawyers to him, he already pled out to like this really fucking awful deal.

But that's really the only prosecution for solely loli content I can remember without having actual child porn as well. And it wasn't online or anything it was the postal service. And if I recall much of his stuff wasn't loli, he was just a collector. It was also for obscenity. Shit end of the stick. I also think he was disabled as well, so an easy target.

So I can't remember really any solely just hentai or even 3D model prosecutions without additional child porn or stuff involving real children.

Another shitty prosecution was where this woman was selling really hardcore child rape stories. On a site that had like 30 members. The thing was it was just stories. The woman herself was a sexual abuse victim with major lasting trauma and she wrote the stories as a form of therapy. As a result of her sexual abuse, she was severely agoraphobic and could not leave her home. Remember, these were just stories. A prosecutor went after her knowing this. It was clear that this was a flagrant violation of her first amendment rights. Her defense attorneys begged her and tried to get her to leave the house, but her condition was so bad she was unable to leave the house. She was automatically found guilty. Her punishment? House arrest.

In conclusion, prosecutors are massive pieces of shit and you should never ever vote for them or support them.

Another thing is that you can 'accidentally' download CP. I remember this case of this dude downloading a bunch of military books and shit off a torrent site which had some CP in it. He actually never opened the files with CP so he wasn't prosecuted, but he got lucky. This is why a lot of people who just want Hentai will stay far away from sites like 8chan or 9chan, because it's really easy to accidentally stumble upon a random image that could completely fuck you over.

I am not sure about the case law regarding if you're surfing an image board and there is CP posted that you didn't intend to see. But this is why many people completely avoid small chans, because they don't want to take the chance of finding out.

I think if you didn't click on the image you might be in the clear, but we're getting into complicated territory, which is why most people just avoid these sites altogether. Better safe than sorry.

There's one particularly weird thing with them that makes me believe that they must have wires crossed in their heads, that it's a mental illness of some kind. Over many years there have been articles from all around the world where a guy with no prior history of pedophilia, who lives a normal life, suddenly grabs a kid in public and speeds off in his car only to be arrested a couple of hours later. That is such strange behavior and they must know beforehand that the police will be up their ass immediately and the life they had will be over. They still do it.

But that's really the only prosecution for solely loli content I can remember without having actual child porn as well. And it wasn't online or anything it was the postal service. There was one weabo in Finland who imported/got sent a lot of manga/hentai and cut it up then scanned it for translation groups. He got busted for it after customs intercepted his package, so they already had their eyes on him. Don't know if he got convicted or if they dropped it, it might even have been sexualized manga and not straight up hentai.

It was really amazing seeing this on twitter. The ones bitching over Uzaki chan saying is for pedos, suddenly saying that this show is not about pedophilia and need to be protected from the cancel culture.
People really like to make nontroversies over nothing, the west is really disgusting right now.
And no, this fucking movie is just an excuse of a promise in order to show little girls as bait for real pedophiles, its sickening than 4chan has better morals than goddam twitter

Pretty much this. If there is a case in the United States where someone was prosecuted for CP purely because they had loli/shota or written text and nothing else, it's probably going to be at the state level since there's a few states that explicitly consider it the same as the real deal.

Federally speaking, it's legal so long as it's purely fictional and isn't depicting an actual child and if someone does get busted for it, it's either an obscenity charge or it's because it was found with actual CP.

That being said, what was Netflix thinking when they decided to give this the green light? They had to have known how most people would react to something like Cuties.

If they'd advertised it like it had been advertised in France, it probably wouldn't have caused a scandal. But no, they had to go full pedo.
