If nearly 1 in 10 protests (even with their biased “study”) is violent, that’s not acceptable. They even defined it as “property damage or serious bodily injury.” Shutting down a highway wouldn’t county, harassing people in a restaurant wouldn’t, and threatening people would. But even with those out they still manage to have 7% of protests be violent. I think 1 percent being violent is unacceptable. Imagine how they would respond if 7 percent of NRA or pro-life protests had violence.

If these violent outbursts were isolated, say in Minneapolis for a couple days or weeks, then order was restored, I would understand the low statistic. However, they've dragged on for weeks if not months with extensive property damage as far as the eye can see with little resistance from the local government. During a pandemic I may add. So yeah, this 1 in 10 being violent, not even close.

They're apparently including "protests" that amounted to four middle-aged white women standing on the sidewalk with BLM signs in Bumfuck, Nowhere. So, of course, the vast majority are peaceful. What I want to see is data on how many protests in large cities were peaceful. If you exclude peaceful protests during the day that devolve into violence at night, which I know for a fact has been the deal in Seattle and Portland, then I'd guess the percentage of peaceful protests in cities is very low.

He was ahead of the curve on globalism though. When the American left was still mostly anti-globalism, he championed South Korea's successes and the "right" to get a huge TV cheap. But maybe he saw where the left was heading.

It seems like, on some level, activists know that they can't succeed without white people carrying them to some extent, like how they rail on white "progressive" parents who send their kids to private school. As far as I know, that would benefit majority minority schools since those progressive parents are still paying taxes to fund the schools while not getting anything out of it. But black and brown kids have a really hard time succeeding if there aren't white students present; it's almost like black and brown kids (and their parents) have a discipline/behavior problem.

The presence of white students is also probably an opportunity for escape for the hard-working black and brown kids. They can make friends with fellow hard-working nerds instead of having to cave to the crabs-in-a-bucket mentality.
