I'm a retard, but let me try to half-assedly steelman some pro-segregation arguments in as few sentences as possible. I said I'm amenable to cultural and aesthetic arguments to segregation. For cultural, the easiest example is Japan. By being a very racially/culturally homogenous society, they have maintained a very unique highly-functional culture, the social results of which most people admire, except for the anime part. Significant de-segregation would slowly erode that culture and its benefits. For aesthetic, it is easy to argue that light-skinned, light-haired, light-eyed euros are the most physically attractive human group, and they happen to be a minority global-wise. Significant de-segregation would slowly erode that aesthetic through interracial breeding.
It's interesting that they are counting the Phoenix protests as nonviolent considering that there was looting and property damage.

it did, yes, but it was also an active action undertaken to break up the segregation that existed. had it taken the form of just...removing laws that treated people unequally instead of forcibly bussing kids to schools they didn't want to go to, it'd be a whole different matter. the irony of it fucking over the black community isn't lost on me, either.
