From what I remember, you need to git gud and spend some points into strength to pull it off. The sheer size of this damn thing looks like 500 kg, not a 50 kg, though. If it's made out of metal. Alex might not know about metric units because he's American, nothing surprising.
I wrote a long ass essay on the point system, but I ultimately came to the conclusion that Alex has no fucking idea what he's doing with this thing, and deleted it. I'm trying to understand what the point of this fucking thing is, but I just can't come to a conclusion. In a game like Bully, the leveling system provided fun minigames that aided with immersion, and provided benefits to the player (But weren't necessary to complete the game), but in Yandere Simulator, it doesn't co-exist well with the rest of the game, and could be completely ignored as there isn't currently a penalty for skipping class.
It's supposed to aid with different murder methods

This game is fucking boring.

After some zoning out, I came up with some more questions
  • When the fuck in the school year is this game taking place? I know that you can infer its the beginning from Alex stating that "Megami is missing for the first 9 weeks of school", but does this mean Ayano just bumped into this random ass dude Senpai on the first day and decided he was he one?
  • In the wiki, it says its her second year at school. Does this mean that she's met the rivals before previously? What about the Headmaster, did he only start giving a shit about a serial killer in his school just recently? He knows her mother, so its not like he just found out recently from the CEO or some other source. Why doesn't she seem to know any of the students, not even a single one?
  • It also states that Megami is in the same year as Ayano. Have they met before in the previous year? Did she also only start giving a shit suddenly? Wouldn't Ayano already know about the rivals? She was in the school because we know she interacted with and recruited the student council members.
  • Why doesn't she know anything about the other students? Wasn't Senpai already in the school in her first year? Why didn't she fall in love with him then? Why didn't he get a girlfriend then? Was she just brushing by him every day until suddenly, she decided that she was going to lock him into marriage permanently?
I know this is all built off of the premise that Ayano is a 2nd year student, but Alex has maintained this fact in many places already. What fucking sense does it make from a story and gameplay perspective? Wouldn't it make more sense that she's a first-year student, as the player knows absolutely nothing about the game, and it would be logical for Ayano to be learning as well to educate the player through her experiences?
The story is fucked at this point, and Alex would have a better chance explaining the game as a schizophrenic dream instead of real events. Way too many inconsistencies, and the story has no bearing in the game itself (You learn 95% of the information from the wiki, which itself is based off of his extremely autistic Reddit posts.)
I'm going to read through this wiki one of these days, so you can all understand just how fucked up this story is.

I think everything about the school aspect could be described as “trying to emulate Persona”, along with any other school anime he could think of.

I like how psychology hasn't even been implemented yet even though the demo is suppose to have all the important game aspects. And it's all because Alex was being a lazy mf.

It goes without saying, this system is boring and was boring when it was implemented years ago. It's like straight from these old-ass dating sims flash games. In a game like this, suddenly introducing numbers to a game where you actually don't use numbers for dealing damage or RPG things like that - you get study points. Persona 5 gets a pass, because the game is absolutely about autistically balancing all these little points you get by doing different things... You can't get stronger in Yandere Simulator by doing different activities. I feel this issue should be resolved in Gothic-like way - you go to instructor, you pay him or do quest, he's unlocking new options for you. If you don't have numbers in the game, it's better to avoid them completely. When you read VN and battle happens, you don't have damage numbers popping off on your enemy.

This whole 2nd year issue is only because characters have to be 18 years old. To sell merchandise, etc. Everything else stems from exactly this. So, yeah, story and character development was secondary to law regulations.

The answers to your questions (they're autistic, don't blame me)
April, yes.

I can't say shit for the headmaster, but the stupid reason she doesn't know any of her classmates is probably something like "she was so sociopathic she didn't care"

This one's probably gonna have a retarded answer related to yandere bloodline how similar to schizophrenia it only starts to kick in at a certain age. (or he helped her off the ground and this shit needs physical touch to trigger (gee that isn't setting it up for sexual perversion at all) Megami's probably got some fucking similar plot device about "goddess bloodline" or something.

I hadn’t checked the subreddits for a few days. I popped in there and got a laugh on the Osana one. Alex allegedly is trying to get rid of the Osana subreddit. If true, the man never learns. :story: How many times is he going to try going to the admins of websites with “people are saying mean things about me. Get rid of this. What do you mean no? They’re obviously stalking and harassing me!!”

edit: I also glanced through the yandere_simulator subreddit. Since it’s not privated anymore, downvoted are rampant. As are actual legitimate opinions (the horror) and the mod team can’t get their shit together. Some posts are being removed for no reason and adolfin has to placate with explanations of “Gee I dunno why this post about a male rival was okay but yours was deleted. I didn’t see it. Sometimes Reddit auto-deletes posts.” The highlight I saw was a post where Alex previously had a poll of whether to set the school in an academy or leave it as a high school. Academy won. Someone was asking if this was still a thing. And someone suggested removing panty shots again. It’s beautiful.

it could be aluminium painted black, or hollow, or the girl carrying it is a midget with superhuman strength
also, it's totally the wrong type of weight for a gym, unless it's used for calibrating the scales
then again, I wouldn't expect that kind of accuracy from a lazy weeaboo who's spent most of his life wanking over cartoons

Supposedly he's working towards some kind of redemptiom arc, at least within his own community at this point. Osana got released- and now he is on a shitty victort lap for something he should have done years ago.
I cant wait until he fucking kills himself when he realizes that his game doesn`t even have any players by the time it is finished.

He’s not going to get far on that redemption arc. He’s already complaining in his discord about people pointing out bugs in the demo. He’s going to quickly learn very few people are going to be satisfied with anything he does at this point or does in the future. If he somehow pulled a No Man’s Sky situation I would be floored.

This is going to put me at odds, but i do think a redemption arc could be possible, once he's hit absolute rock bottom. Without rock bottom, though, he will go no where. He literally just needs to hit the fucking dirt and be on the verge of giving himself a 9mm lobotomy before he is going to see the error of his ways. Not that anyone would miss a dead pedo discord user.

when dealing with alex I will always say, "Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by laziness". The reason is because a lot of these things have to do with knowledge and are not something like a math problems that you have to solve so all he has to do is google search it.

"Oh fuck, I have to look at my horrible code again"
After the source code leak I felt bad for the people who had to help him with his code. Especially when I remembered that when he switched to C# he did not bother Refactoring the code making it a headache to go back and change some of the shit.

I feel bad for the compiler.

He easily could have and still can by hiring experienced volunteers with the patreon money he most likely still has.
Too bad he's too much of a narcissist to do that (or maybe he's just saving up for an another sex doll so he could have an anime threesome or something)
