I wrote a long ass essay on the point system, but I ultimately came to the conclusion that Alex has no fucking idea what he's doing with this thing, and deleted it.
From what I remember, you need to git gud and spend some points into strength to pull it off. The sheer size of this damn thing looks like 500 kg, not a 50 kg, though. If it's made out of metal. Alex might not know about metric units because he's American, nothing surprising.
It's supposed to aid with different murder methods
This game is fucking boring.
After some zoning out, I came up with some more questions
- When the fuck in the school year is this game taking place? I know that you can infer its the beginning from Alex stating that "Megami is missing for the first 9 weeks of school", but does this mean Ayano just bumped into this random ass dude Senpai on the first day and decided he was he one?
- In the wiki, it says its her second year at school. Does this mean that she's met the rivals before previously? What about the Headmaster, did he only start giving a shit about a serial killer in his school just recently? He knows her mother, so its not like he just found out recently from the CEO or some other source. Why doesn't she seem to know any of the students, not even a single one?
- It also states that Megami is in the same year as Ayano. Have they met before in the previous year? Did she also only start giving a shit suddenly? Wouldn't Ayano already know about the rivals? She was in the school because we know she interacted with and recruited the student council members.
- Why doesn't she know anything about the other students? Wasn't Senpai already in the school in her first year? Why didn't she fall in love with him then? Why didn't he get a girlfriend then? Was she just brushing by him every day until suddenly, she decided that she was going to lock him into marriage permanently?
The story is fucked at this point, and Alex would have a better chance explaining the game as a schizophrenic dream instead of real events. Way too many inconsistencies, and the story has no bearing in the game itself (You learn 95% of the information from the wiki, which itself is based off of his extremely autistic Reddit posts.)
I'm going to read through this wiki one of these days, so you can all understand just how fucked up this story is.
