/3/'s a dying board, it's where all the retards go (and considering /b/, /x/ and /pol/ exist, that's saying alot). Be forewarned, if you use literally anything that isn't an Autodesk product or zBrush, such as Blender, DAZ or even C4D, prepare to get endless amounts of flame bait.

There are no good boards anymore. Only the rare shit-crusted gem of a thread. I'm almost at the point where I completely retire from the site. I almost considered putting in a janitor application. I would end up mopping up for a community I don't even think I really like anymore.

I never said I hate it. I didn't change but the culture has. What I loved and still love about the place is largely gone. I've given it some thought and the next time janitor applications roll around I'll apply. While it's no longer my culture it's a part of the Internet folk culture that should be upheld and preserved and I wouldn't mind helping in its upkeep.

10 years ago 4chan, more specifically /v/, use to be very rabid about how reddit would constantly reuse the same memes over and over with no originality.
Now it seems most of 4chan only uses wojak edits and reddit has diverse memes

I think there's probably 2-3 soyjak shitposters on most boards but they just constantly jump on every new thread and post their zero effort shitposts, greentext earlier post with a soyjak. I wouldn't be surprised if some are scripted.

there is absolutely a dedicated squad of people with social disabilities continuing the cycle. i distinctly remember someone on /v/ lamenting the thousand dollar commission they got and then did for some real life autist since it was over a hundred different soyjack edits, which were then plastered on every thread. this was months ago, i can't imagine how it is now.

I haven't seriously been on a chan in almost a year, I got into chans with 8chan then when that died I had a brief stint on Spacechan but Space_ basically self sabotaged and destroyed the site by sperging out. Now I basically just stick to obscure textboards that won't eventually get overrun with normalfags.
