Decided to make edit a video from this

Remember when they fabricated the story that Vic lick that one girl and ran away grossed out?
I sure do.
I also remember when Greg made up that cops broke a guy's wheelchair "FOR SPORT" even though the clip shows that the chair was falling apart while a cop was trying to prevent people from trying to take it.
Also, Greg says that Vic gives the "harassers" his "tacit approval".

It's a steady trickle of money, but it hasn't stopped one bit, maybe no longer than 24 hours at a time. And that makes LawTwit mad as hell. :story:

Nick should shill the GFM again, that'll make it closer to the goal in one night.
If Nick is going to shill, he should wait until after the appeal decision or at least the day of the due date only. Shilling it right now and repeatedly is an ill-advised move, especially with COVID making people becoming extra cautious with their money. It'll make Nick look like a "grifter", even though he's clearly not one. Besides, Nick said he's not good at shilling anyway, so I doubt he's going to do it anytime soon.

So, they might need several meet up about this to unwrap the whole thing?

Ordinarily they might but they'll probably do it by email in current year. I suspect Sudderth will write the opinion, possibly without much consultation with others, or if she doesn't, will more or less tell whoever gets assigned the general gist of what they write.

How was my heel turn? Is kayfabe still around? Will vic win? Who knows.

Damn just calm down lmao

It wasn't a mistake unless you think saving Vic's life was a mistake.

If losing a lawsuit with nothing to show for it but paying the people who ruined his life it's a mistake. Vic should've gotten a actual defamation lawyer, not listen to youtube's equivalent to Bill nye on law. And I am calm, just highly disappointed in the case.

You know, I do have to bring this up. Why is Ron so convinced that Vic is going to sue Percy and Nick? I could postulate a few theories but I will bring up two main thoughts that come from this question: Ron plans to sue them himself in some dumbass attempt to punish them, or he plans to try to coerce vic into doing it (along the lines of 'If you want your director position, you better sue. The moment its filed, you get your job' sort of deal).

Both are supremely stupid but are the only sensible ones. The other one that isn't flat out insanity is that Ron somehow thinks this is all a criminal trial and he can turn the tables like its an ace attorney game.

No, he does have something to show for it even at a loss. It is undeniable that mistakes were made, but there is little you can do about a judge that stares a fact in the face and then says it doesn't exist and rules based on its non-existence.
Ty's best move was to simple let the judge act like a retard and then ask for the appeals court to tard wrangle him. The only other move would have been to go nuclear and ask them to make him play nice with a writ of mandamus.
Then again, recent times have shown us that the justice system is full of retards so who knows how appeals will go.

It's posturing. He doesn't give a shit about Vic's well being or avenging bad legal advice or whatever he's virtue signalling for. He just wants to smugly chuckle as people he hates fight amongst themselves.

It's just basic torts if im remembering correctly, any practicing lawyer can do that. But I'd suggest from Lemons performance to stay away from any "Professional" anything in law.

But this case wasn't lost or won by any lawyers actions, it was all Chupp.

from my understanding, Vic had hired another lawyer, but they weren’t willing to move fast enough to be able to minimise the damage to him.

sometimes when you are drowning, you cling to whatever help you can.

Per @Svetlana, it was two lawyers.

I keep seeing the wild KV logic leap from my statement of "we spoke to two different firms before hiring Ty" to "two different attorneys told Vic the case was shit."

No.

Attorney #1 (consulted - never actually hired): "You've definitely got a strong case, but you can't afford it."

Attorney #2 (the one who sent a C&D to Saucedo): "I understand your world is burning at Twitter speed. I'll get that motion filed sometime in the next 2 months-ish."

Exactly zero lawyers told us that the case had no merit. Quite the opposite.

Nothing makes my stress go away when dealing with fat chicks and soyboy cucks than Vic's 30 minute Unlocked stream.

So Vic responds to the notion that he was lying about the FunkoPop situation and says that he is not and has 5 emails that he can show to these people but doesn't because its none of their business

A question if knows Steve Blum and responds saying that Steve is a good guy which still confuses me cause I don't think Steve has said anything nice about Vic during this situation

Since today is Star Trek Day he wanted to do the stream in his Star Trek display room (fucking nerd)

Before the show ended he saw a comment saying his Unlocked streams are being used against him and responds with "In what way"

Next week he might be on Unlocked or Instagram if Unlocked doesn't fix the issue of him not chatting with fans face to face

BTW @Svetlana is Steve Blum and Vic friends

These idiots are acting like there's some stable of libel specialist lawyers in every imaginable jurisdiction and you can just pick and choose between them like they're in a big box store full of lawyers with every imaginable specialty. When such hyper-specialist lawyers do exist they're among the best in the field and charge top dollar. For instance, Marc Randazza is a top notch First Amendment lawyer for almost any case involving that, especially intersecting intellectual property. Guess what, you can't afford him.

And there are other top notch speech lawyers, maybe a few dozen in cities like New York and Los Angeles and D.C., and you can't afford them either. There isn't some hidden bumper crop of them in Texas (although there is a cottage industry of patent trolling). Most lawyers and firms are either door law, i.e. take anything that comes in the door, or specialize in some broad area of law, like commercial law, or personal injury, or criminal defense, or administrative law like dealing with Social Security disability or the Veteran's Administration or the local zoning commission.

Nine times out of ten you don't just have some perfect guy available who specializes in tortious interference and defamation cases with a side of TCPA. These people are living in fucking fantasy land if they think that's how it works.

And then that one time you get Lemoine, who's charging you more than what Vic owes.
