This also lets Ethan skate with his "I dunno lol I was hacked" routine, he could say he didn't want to be specific to "protect" her. He could slip his story in, say he genuinely didn't know what happened at first, but found out later and decided not to comment further. Either out of embarrassment, or out of concern for Faith.

She'll throw Chris under the bus, say it was to get back at him in the heat of the moment. Especially now that he's on here telling her to kill herself. She will embrace the Gunt for the sake of spiting her family, and feel justified in doing so in light of their public crusade against her. She's already marrying him, she's already lied plenty to protect him. What's a few more?

She branded her father as an abuser, lied about what kind of home life she had, lied about being sexually assaulted multiple times. All of which put the family in danger, if the lies had worked they could be in legal trouble, could have lost their business, custody of their kids, etc. Plus she made them waste money and time to come and rescue her, when she knew she had no intention of going back.
So I think she's pretty justified in what she's saying, Faith wants to pretend to be a functioning adult? Then she should be treated as one.
