There are rumblings in the US about these trainings and racial quotas in hiring being illegal according to the Civil Rights Act. Peter Kirsanow, a US Civil Rights Commissioner, was on Tucker last night talking about it.
Kirsanow also wrote a scathing letter to Seattle’s mayor about their recent segregated trainings. The Civil Rights division of the DOJ is investigating the Seattle trainings too.
I am starting to collect potential evidence at my company in case shit hits the fan, but they toe the line. They told us they want to “make the racial demographics of employees match the communities we are living in” but we are one of those tech companies that is going full remote so what does that mean? Is it the demographics of SF that we are trying to match or the entire US now? If it is the entire US, does that mean we need to hire more whites and less Asians? Well, they will not say explicitly. However, it seems like the Seattle trainings were not mandatory and Kirsanow still believes they were illegal. That is the angle I am taking, since everything being pushed at my company now is BLM, hire more black people, be anti-racist. It is a hostile work environment to anyone who is not black.
Has this guy seen the ratings plummet this year for every sport going woke? If the NBA cancels the entire next season, that will be the nail in the coffin for the league.
Remove the politics and put this behavior in an every day context. Its the same shit a narc would do to their victim.

A Black Lives Matter protester was arrested and bundled into a van on a seven-year-old warrant after calling police 'pigs' and saying he wanted to 'take their heads off with a hand saw'.
Jeremy Logan says he was driven away in an unmarked van and kept in custody for more than a day while on his way to a protest in Spokane, Washington.
Logan, the chair of a local Democratic Socialists of America branch, told HuffPost that he was arrested on a 2013 drugs warrant which has only now been fulfilled.
Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich hit back in a lengthy press conference where he insisted that Logan's arrest was 'not a political issue'.
However, the Republican sheriff admitted that officers had been monitoring Logan's online rhetoric in the lead-up to his arrest.

It's times like these I'm glad I work for a small business and that my boss is a personal friend who shares my worldview. Does that mean I can the struggle sessions forever? Of course not. But it reduces my chances of having to deal with it in the forseeable future.

Not sure if the comparisons been made yet, but I told a somewhat reasonable coworker yesterday that all the white people with BLM stickers, hats, buttons, etc. just remind me of people putting lamb's blood on the door so they won't come and kill their first born, thankfully they agreed! They still think Floyd deserves sainthood though... Small steps I suppose!

The justification for shooting this kid will likely be something along the lines of: "he was coming right for me." It may sound like an old skit from South Park, but people with autism and mental health disorders can be rather frightening even for someone with vast experience with them. Police officers are put into a tough spot. Society seemingly wants them to control the uncontrollable. To act reasonably when you are continually met with unreasonableness.
I'm not sure how others would react. But if I showed up to see a where someone reportedly threatened someone else with a weapon and had some autistic looking individual running straight at me, I may very well unload the entire clip.

Shooting a bear or animal involves:
- Guessing their weight
- Estimating the dosage for that weight, without going over
- Filling the syringe with the correct dose, without mistakes
- Shooting the syringe, hitting the right spot for an injection
- Hoping you didn't underdose (not effective) or overdose (they die) but instead hit a sweet spot where they can't attack yet their heart and breathing didn't shut down yet. People die all the time from this sweet spot being missed with gas sedation (doctor/dentist office).
This is also ignoring pcp or drugs that could end up countering or interacting with the sedative used, or the fact that the needle is being stabbed into you in a generally random spot with the force of a rubber bullet and causing all sorts of damage.
It's the worst way ever to subdue someone from a range, its done in animals because of how less we give a fuck about them, and if lib cities try forcing it, all their social workers and criminals are going to get killed in equal amounts.

Um, yes, that's an Australian tree. But it's not the Australian tree, which is the horrible melaleuca. The geniuses of the Army Corps of Engineers (motto: there's nothing that we can't make worse) broadcast melaleuca seeds all over southern Florida back when they were trying -- I shit you not -- to drain the Everglades. That didn't work, but what did happen was the place being overrun by poisonous trees that cannot be destroyed. They spread roots all over the place, and if you cut down one trunk another dozen appear. Nor are they good for anything -- can't be pulped, used for lumber, or do anything except absorb water. Like most everything from Australia, they're toxic and useless.

They've been trying, with various degrees of success, to find ways to get rid of these trees. They've tried to individually poison each tree, but even a few square acres of them takes a long time to do. I think they've also considered importing the tree's natural predator, which is some sort of beetle (?) from Australia. But they don't want that beetle to then cause more disruption to the environment, so last I heard they were trying to figure out how to modify the species so it couldn't reproduce.
See, the difference between Florida environmentalism and California environmentalism is that Florida takes it seriously, with significant GOP understanding and effort. California thinks they can switch to solar panels and stop messing with forests, then virtue signal how great they are, when in reality those are both net causes of harm to the environment. Florida does more low key things, like raising highway embankments to restore historical water flow to the Everglades from the Okeechobee water basin. It's not flashy, but it's important and necessary. Florida isn't a place where the bounty of nature is accessible for instagram weekend vacations, after which you can return to the city and forget it ever existed. No, in Florida if you don't take care of your lawn for a couple months, it literally starts looking like the Everglades.
