This is likely more a case of the admins frowning on subreddits targeting other subreddits. Well, targeting in ways the admins don't approve of anyways. More specifically they're likely going to be nuking any subreddits that look like they're organizing protests on r/Animemes. I kind of doubt it'll help much though. There's too much momentum. The moment they aren't manually approving posts or allow comments people will begin demanding changes and answers of the mods once again. Which since the mods refuse to back down and have taken a fairly indefensible position, they have nothing to offer pissed off users and are terrified to admit it or try and debate them.

Remember when you were 10 and you and all your classmates hated the thing all the 8 year olds liked? Backstreet Boys, Yugioh, whatever. This is what this is, except it’s reddit manchildren who grew up playing generic shitty FPS named Halo or call of duty instead of fortnite. They are mad because it is a game that is child-friendly with a bright colour palate that is the same pig trough of seasonal content, but it’s named Fortnite and not their preferred flavour, which is call of duty or whatever stoner degenerates play these days

It's kinda funny how die hard Reddit are against anti-maskers (who are still retarded), because when covid first started spreading reddit threads were full of totally reliable information about how masks are 'totally ineffective' and that there is no point in using one.

To be fair (even to fucking reddit) that's what the CDC was saying at the time too. And they are nearly totally ineffective, for many purposes, as far as stopping you from catching it if everyone else around you is coofing up a storm maskless.

I was paranoid in FEBRUARY about Corona Virus and I was following the news hardcore, I remember pretty much every major news journal was publishing crap saying, "Corona virus is just like the flu" and "Corona Virus is a fad for conspiracy theorists" and "Don't wear a mask lmao"


Then come April and May, the CDC is blaming Trump for people not wearing masks, and literally every news journal is shitting on people who aren't worried about Corona, while blaming trump for spreading the lie that "corona is just like the flu"...

I cannot emphasize enough that these people are culture vultures and smug political opportunists.
