Her voice is fucking grating and her resume includes only a few hits with a lot of misses...
The last performance of hers that I personally noped the fuck out on was Mey-Rin from Black Butler. She was horrendous in that role. Whoever casted her should be be forced to listen to her nails-on-chalkboard Cockney accent for all of eternity. A true hell.
I couldn't get through a single fucking episode with that creature...
To be fair, she has done well enough in certain roles, notably when they keep her in a lower/subdued voice. She's still not all that great as an actress, though.
I find monica to be a better VA in her older stuff compared to the work she's put out in the past few years. I have hated her sakura voice with a passion since Tsubasa Chronicle was released but her other work from around the same time is okay as far as dubs go.
Personally I wish the role went to another person, possibly new talent that could bring something fresh to the scene instead of having the same 3-5 actors from the "old guard".

I love her performances in Noir and Azumanga Daioh which makes it all the sadder that she's like this.
But, as @SiccDicc said, the VA community is incredibly toxic. The only VA's I can get behind are Cam Clarke and Lani Minella because they stay out of that clique and drama shit. Also they aren't in that Critical Role cult either thankfully.

From what I’ve seen on my time in the server, this guy (and a bunch of other users) has a seething hatred for weebs and tend to mock people who are against censorship. He always labels Vic supporters and the above people as being anti-SJWs and constantly makes posts mocking them. Basically, he’s a sped who has Vic living rent free in his head.
