Bogota is rioting. It's hard to assess how rational they are without being familiar with their culture, though. Many South American countries have terrible, terrible, terrible cops.

>America take notes
>America
>being this unaware of how hard Latinx/Hispanx/ Chicanx chimpout when you refer to the US as "America"
>¡ayayay no! We are America too - you are just the United States!

Imagine committing microaggressions of this scale and unironically calling yourself "Youth Liberation Front", smh

What would be the likely hood of insurance companies hiring private investigators to figure out what the hell going on? Cause of this destruction would give them one hell of an incentive to put a stop to all this.
Kyle Rittenhouse given a job at an insurance company where he'll make thousands of dollars daily to watch used car lots, menacingly

I'm not sure that clown wants American to 'take notes'

Back in the 1980s and 1990 Columbia police officers were trained by US Delta Forces and moonlighted as death squads simply killing criminals.
The Colombian police are also reportedly already using live rounds on rioters. Whatever the circumstances of what caused this it's clear shit is hitting the fan there and both Colombian police and rioters are going hard in a way their American counterparts simply are not prepared to.

I still can't believe we've had over 3 months of rioting and what's left of the fabric of our society unraveled over a fucking drug dealer ODing on his own stash. And we're going to have it twice now since there's no way any kind of murder charge will stick to Chauvin at this point.

The death of fentanyl Floyd was just the casus beli the left and (((others in power))) used to try and sink Orange Man and the rest of the US this time. Looking forward to see if Chauvin walks as he should though,

There was an offhand comment in a stream a few nights ago in PDX when PPB and OSP launched a surprise gas attack (and by surprise I mean they didn't spend 5 minutes issuing warnings) so none of the protesters had masks. The comment was that "they aren't using Fed gas". Nobody in the crowd put masks on and the streamer mentioned that it "smelled kind of nice".
There are a lot of places, especially residential areas or areas near medical facilities, where use of tear gas is contraindicated. Unlike pepperspray, gas goes everywhere on the wind. That means into windows and air-conditioning. It's one thing if some dumb rioter with asthma goes down in a fit because they were stupid enough to play that game, but if someone's grandma with lung problems or infant ends up dead from a respiratory reaction it's a real bad day.

Because of that a lot of times police will use smoke grenades and hope people don't know that they're much less effective. The same doofuses who don't know the difference between pepper spray and cyanide sure don't know tear gas from smoke. Most of the 'gas' used during the Baltimore troubles around '13 was actually just smoke, the same sort of shit you might find on paintball fields. Still irritating if you're right up in it but not nearly as much as tear gas, CS, etc.
That's a Go Pro. Where did this come from, because this screams "ANTIFA" to me. If your home is about to be engulfed in fucking flames, you probably don't grab the Go Pro to stick on your head. Probably don't have a gas mask lying around, either.
Many people on the West Coast have some sort of gas mask or n95 because the air is fucking shit when wildfires get bad. When the rona started the west coast was better prepared because they're more used to having to deal with air problems. Not saying that means it's an innocent homeowner but it could be.

Not unreasonable at all to simply have a mask out there... but given antifa and their boner for masks and ventilators I am very suspicious of the selfie. Apparently not a selfie some identifiable wildfire victim posted on their page somewhere. @Nihil Jung said it was an enhance of a still from earlier in the thread, but I can't find the post

Well, hard is just how things go in the third world.

It seems quite plausible that the Ashland fire (and possibly others) resulted from some sort of arson, but it seems unlikely to be politically motivated. I can't really imagine what political faction would benefit so substantially from wildfires in Southern Oregon that they would see arson as worth it. If it is human-involved, it was probably either some random vagrant lunatic, or someone fucking around or being careless.

Set forest fire and blame it on the far right. Thats what they would gain from doing so.

Ashland is basically a mini-Portland. It's an extremely liberal college town, a deep blue spot in a sea of red. Someone might have figured out that they could fuck up the rest of the Republican county and leave Ashland untouched by starting a fire on the north end of town when the wind was southerly.

It could plausibly be considered eco-terrorism since the left is using the fires as more climate change fodder. For Antifa, it is just plain terrorism. They hate America, they hate the West, they want to burn it all down. Take what they say at face value.

Won't happen because the MSM won't allow it, but it will convince pretty much every non-NPC actual human.

If the violent rape/murder on the night of the first riot in Minneapolis didn't stop the MSM from praising antifa/blm, nor the weekend fathers day and labor day shootings resulting in dozens dead gave them pause, nor the murder of a 19 year old black male by antifa in CHAZ, nor a literal pedophile trying to kill a 17 year old boy.... nothing, absolutely nothing will make the MSM change its tune.

A point of clarification: antifa killed a 16-year-old joyriding in a carjacked SUV (not that they could have known that). The 19-year-old was killed in gangland-style violence, which is pretty common at the park that was at CHOP's center.

Floyd playing the blubbering baby more than once when apprehended by police is called reasonable doubt. My money is that Chauvin will be found guilty of some lesser charge, probably something related to improper holds or excessive force.
