Im 30 pages behind but here a theory. What if Gator was biding his time until Ethan is back behind bars, and then once he knows Ethan cant release his blackmail just goes off on him. Devotes an entire month of the killstream to lashing out at Ethan Ralph, and just collecting thousands of dollars before riding off into the sunset? Sort of like Francos Gator Juan Carlos did.

This maybe been answered already, thread moves fast, but the difference between a misdemeanor and felony is answered to you directly but here is a site that can give you a little more insight on us law. As some people seem to have a hard time w the difference between prison and jail (not necessarily you and not necessarily just people outside the us) I’ll also attach this article. they’re 2 different things and separate institutions and a lot of people use the terms interchangeably when they’re not.

as far as them quashing any charges, I’d argue that it’s be quite difficult to get any prosecutor to even bring charges, let alone worry about defending against them. If the police take the discord msgs seriously (which they could argue that with the ability to change your name server to server you’d be hard pressed to prove what acct wrote what) you’d have to prove Dax himself wrote those messages and made some attempt to follow through, not just attempting to impress a girl. Also you’d have to get the police to seize electronics, and for what? A fake ID for a (presumably) 18 year old?

Even during LiveChat Wednesday people were laughing at this shit. Godwinson and others have stated categorically at least three times now that he's definitely going back to jail. Although there is the possibility that while 17 she had sex with Ralph. That, however, would make it federal charges for sexual child abuse and would be an FBI case, not any state in particular...though the states would help in investigation. Probably.

Even if someone could be found liable, the fact Ralph is the one who sent it diminishes any responsibility for anyone else who may have shared it, especially when he was encouraging Chris Kerr to "open it" on the program. The most important part of that entire thing is actually the last one, where the visual depiction's intention is to cause "titillation or arousal in the viewer". Wouldn't Ralph get a career felon charge (might be the wrong usage but I mean someone with prior convictions) ? Because once you violate your parole it's a automatically jail sentence for a few months.
