The left, but especially the lunatic left, have a huge fucking envy issue with how other countries but especially Canada and Europe live. In particular the myth that Canada and European countries like the UK and France have it far far far better than Americans, if you are a poorfag. Especially with the myth of universal healthcare being a birthright in those countries (ignoring of course, that in those countries, wait time is just as bad if not WORSE than it is in the US, that you have even LESS choice in who you see doctor-wise, and that the quality of the doctors vary widely and is a crapshoot if you get a good doctor or a malpractice practicing quack).

Even freaking Michael Moore had to break his jerking off of the French society in Sicko, to point out that France taxes citizens into oblivion to pay for everyone's health care and keep the doctors living in splendor to keep their doctors happy and well paid and not fleeing the country to work abroad.

The Left likes to perpetuate the myth that college-educated/non-religious cosmopolitans are smarter and living better lives than superstitious flyover ghouls. Jerking off liberal Europe is part of that. What they leave out is the fact that America has been footing the bill for Europe's defense for decades, so of course they're going to have more money lying around for healthcare and welfare. Europe has (at least up till now) been homogenous so, outside of the major cities, they don't have the kind of tribalistic unrest that the US has baked into it.

So does that “steal money from firefighters” thing have any actual weight behind it or no?

I'm pretty sure the reality is "After 19 years, there are a lot less 9/11 firefighters needing medical care now, so the program's budget is under utilized and is being redirected as happens with any federal program".

Ask anyone in the military about the massive enforced ordering from Skilcraft that happens every September before budgets are turned in - if you don't use your budget, you'll lose it.

Makes me wonder where this guy stands on the riots? Most people forget this quote from Abraham Lincoln "Nearly all men can withstand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."

Abraham Lincoln, one of the most beloved presidents of all time, gave us a huge key for us to know who is fit to be in power. And I gotta say this, Donald motherfucking Trump is so fit to be President of the United States. Because unlike other presidents, he hasn't shown an ounce of corruption unlike Clinton, Obama, (I want to say George W Bush, but I don't know much of his presidency to know if he did some shady things. Again with Trump as far as I know, he too hasn't done anything shady.) Which is why we need more people like Trump in office.

In fact if we can just clean house this election, and get rid of a lot of these career politicians, I'm pretty sure we'll be on the right track to recovery in no time.

So how do you guys think 9/11 will pan out, Hell, CNN should just go all out and state that Trump was the mastermind behind the fall of the twin towers and Osama's niece stating that itll happen again if Trump doesnt win is proof of that.

I mean they've been touting that Trump is the cause of wildfires, earthquakes, and hurricanes happening to the country. So why not?
You know for people who hate that the alt-right call him a "God Emperor" its funny that Dems see Trump as the cause of these natural disasters like you know he's some sort of "God" or something.

Is it too late to put five bucks on a "Trump family has connections with Bin Laden family" hit piece?

Because really, why would two families that built their fortunes on real estate and construction ever have dealings with one another?

Can confirm. My husband's parents were from two different European countries and became proud American citizens. They went back to the Father's country when husband was 9 because of something happening with family and my in laws swore it was the worse mistake they ever made. Father in law died of a simple infection that turned into gangrene simply due to doctors dropping the ball constantly.

My husband had the opportunity to live in several European nations and when we got married I asked if their was another place that he desired to live (seeing as I am not as well travelled as he is) and he laughed and said America is probably one of the best places to live.

I think we should stop funding other country's defense. They clearly don't like us and we are trillions of dollars in debt, pay for your own shit. It'll never happen though

In some cases but not always.

Some countries like Germany and the Netherlands have weak and underfunded armies (though Germany is a major exporter of arms), but Britain and France maintain nuclear stockpiles and Greece and Finland are heavily militarised with conscription. Sweden used to have a substantial defence industry with Saab and Bofors too. Poland is also quite militarised and wants a US military base because they're next to Kaliningrad and on the front lines against Russia.

American forces withdrawing from Europe probably wouldn't do that much. Only a few thousand troops are deployed in Poland and eastern Europe, though there are plans to expand the base there significantly, so they're not making much practical difference other than serving as tripwire forces to warn that the USA will get involved in the event of war. European armies are much smaller than the Russian one but between the fact that Russia mostly relies on upgraded cold war surplus equipment (they don't have a single 5th generation fighter jet in active service yet and could only afford 100 of their new T-14 tanks) and 2 European powers have their own nuclear missiles they wouldn't dare try anything.

American standards of health are low compared to most of Europe outside of eastern countries like Hungary with heavy drinking problems. Greece has a life expectancy of 82 compared to 79 in the USA despite being a poorer country that also maintains a conscript army with hundreds of tanks and fighter jets. Of course obesity and hard drug use are much rarer there which helps them a lot. It's easy to find stories of when European doctors mishandled something badly, but compared to 70,000 people dying of fentanyl and heroin overdoses in a year because doctors were prescribing opioid painkillers it's pretty small.

I wouldn't say most Europeans are "progressive liberals" in the American sense though, immigration and troonery are unpopular outside of a few major cities in the western part. The Balkans had plenty of tribal unrest too, though it's died down in the last few years.

He's going to get the Democrats to attack this proposal, isn't he. He's going to forgive the deferred payroll taxes and instead take that money out of the General Fund for the time being, and the fucking Democrats are going to attack him and demand that we keep taking money out of peoples' paychecks. He's going to offer to let people keep more of their money and the Democrats are going to scream, "No, it's ours."

Well, for about a week, and then Joe Biden will say it was his idea.
