The only thing that bothers me about gender reveals is that they’re sex reveals. The word gender was a mistake.
gender and sex is the same shit, anyone who thinks overwise is a moronic demented troon

you should breathe this shit in

That’s pretty much what I’m saying. The word gender has convinced people that they’re special fucking snowflakes. They won’t concede to this one.

Like I said, a mistake.
wouldn't make a difference if the word ever existed or not. they'd just come up with new sexes or make a new word.

The word "gender" was coined by Doctor John William Money, a psychologist/sexologist who wanted to prove that a person's sex was mutable- a product of upbringing and environment. To that end, he had a young boy named David Reimer mutilated to turn him into a girl and prove his theories. Even though by any standard the experiment was a horrifying failure and both David and his twin Brian committed suicide due to the trauma of what Money did, Money claimed the experiment was a resounding success, and his work has formed the basis of the modern transgender movement.
But, yes, he coined the word gender because "sex" implied immutability.

The word gender has been around since Middle English. John Money didn't invent it, he just twisted it to his own purposes.

The use of it to refer to socially imposed rules of conduct for the sexes dates to the 1960s (or thereabouts). Before then, its primary meaning (other than some obscure and obsolete meanings that have not been used for hundreds of years) was limited to language, i.e. masculine/feminine/neuter cases of nouns, pronouns, and other words.

The new sense of "gender" very quickly evolved into semantic shorthand for the bundle of societal norms associated with what are now called "gender roles," so it is somewhat tautological to say "gender is a social construct" because almost by definition, "gender" is a term referencing the socially constructed roles largely but not entirely governing members of society by their physical sex.

Retards like LaBill and his fellow troons have, so to speak, stolen a march on reality by equivocating and treating physical sex itself (an objectively real thing) as if it is the social construct that gender and gender roles actually are. There is also an implication in the "social construct" rhetoric that something being a social construct means it is worthless or bad. If so, though, troonery is such a thing as well because it is, if anything, even more socially constructed than gender norms, which are something universally applied in every single society, whether or not the specific norms themselves differ from society to society.

Naming kids is also evil, what if they want to name themselves after gay anime characters later? abolish birth certificates. Apparently parents always have to assume their kid is going to be within the maladaptive 0.5% of the population, can't possibly assume the child is normal and raise them normally as logic dictates.

I truly wonder the fucked up identity crisis kids raised like that are gonna go trough in a couple decades, they'll end up worse than indigo childs.

And yet in an effort to avoid terming your child a boy or a girl, you end up referring to their genitals. I will never forget the screenshot of an fb post I saw where the mother termed their daughter "my three-year old vulva-haver".

Edit: I can't find it but here is another one. Apparently this phenomenon is mildly infamous on the farms so apologies if this has been posted in this thread before.

I believe there is a lot to be said in favour of raising children in a GNC-friendly environment, but even my hippy ass isn't going to call my children by their genitals. Disgusting sexualisation of kids. Poor kid is probably gonna grow up thinking her first name is Vulva.

Wikipedia said:
If I were to see the case of a boy aged ten or eleven who's intensely erotically attracted toward a man in his twenties or thirties, if the relationship is totally mutual, and the bonding is genuinely totally mutual ... then I would not call it pathological in any way.

Money held the view that affectional pedophilia is caused by a surplus of parental love that became erotic, and is not a behavioral disorder. Rather, he took the position that heterosexuality is another example of a societal and therefore superficial, ideological concept.

He was one sick man.

Social gender norm have been different from society to society as well as how tightly they have to bee followed but general direction has always been the same. This is stuff like the woman is expected to take a larger role in raising kids especially with little kids. Men do physically more intenseve or dangerous labor. Higher sexual purity standards to women. There has never been sociaty where women do the fighting and war instead of men. At best women were allowed in war with men but they were never the primary fighting class. Usually women support men from home by running the daily life in their abstinence or by making food for the solders and caring those hurt.

Her daughter is expressing normal feelings of a child her age, she is a girl and doesn't want boys stuff. This normal period in growing up as she is learning to find patterns in people and her place in those patterns. She is a girl and she isn't a boy, she wants to express this to world and so will reject stuff that in her mind aren't for girls. This is perfectly normal behavior and soon she will grow out of it when she knows that her femaleness isn't depended on stuff or actions. Let her reject what she wants, let her know that's her choise, let her do her thing, just with that remaind her that doing boy stuff doesn't make not girl. Her gender is here to stay and doesn't change no matter what she likes or does.

"Vulva-toddler", and nutters like Labelle say we are obsessed with children's genitals.

I dunno. Kid seems pretty smart. I like how she just went "you can wear it if you like it".

Popularized rather than coined, but otherwise accurate. He introduced the terms "gender role", "gender identity" and "sexual orientation".

He also advocated "affectionate" pedofilia as distinct from " sadistic pedofilia".

But I suppose we should be happy. It would be confusing if they called them "baby sex parties" or something like that.
