if anything would make me seethe in that situation it's this, I hesitate to even call the things that make up these rallies 'people'. the saving grace is that these fucks think they've already won, and don't realize that the conflict hasn't even really started yet.

There's something rotten in Oregon, knowing about the crooked people in the higher positions of the states government. It's easy for me to say that I trust no one in office especially with all the doublespeak. I know most of the state outside the big cities hate the governer with a passion including some folks in Salem. Most counties voted red last election but lost because the larger cities have the state by the balls. I remember the republicans walking out during a bill signing and thinking it's a cowardly move. When I talked to my fiances father about what should be done to protestors he thought they need prosecution but no lethal force should be used. Is it me or do republicans have no balls in Oregon?

Edit: I know this is all in past tense, it just sucks to see people I know suffering under leadership of the worst kind.

They’re too stupid to learn, they didn’t in 2016 and they won’t now. They’ll cling to any narrative that absolves them or blame whether it be voter fraud, muh Russia, or fucking Latinos/black people not realizing they’re oppressed. There will be no introspection and instead a doubling down on the neoliberal/identity politics bs that got them in this position.

As you said you cant trust any one in power any more to handle it. Youre on your own.

I can see the "pre-emptive strike" value of the move. Indeed Deadfish brought up a good point that AntiFa could loot in the time between evacuation to when the fire is close.

I was projecting a bit. The local guys who I would suspect lean towards Boogaloo are all mid 60's, one has had a heart attack and has diabetes, the other has a knee replacement and the last is paunchy to say the least.

Essentially guys who wouldn't be camping out in the woods on extended campaign.

So in my view AntiFa would have destroyed the economic output of an area based on a paranoid delusion while not actually killing the opposition, thus leaving skilled marksmen loose in America where they could probably get another firearm from sympathetic allies.

That's why the whole voting process in that state is a waste of time, either Antifa is going to take over all the metropolitan areas through an insurrection or people will get fed up and do something about it. What I witness is the rising homeless population and rising wealth enequality.

I mean it's already a regular thing that happens in countries that have shitty economies and obnoxious people. Those massive wildfires in Greece in 2018? those are set by tramps and gyppoes to get people out their homes so they can be looted. I know people who would defend it as "it's just their kulchure ackshually" but honestly, I think we can put the myth of "all cultures are equal" to bed now. Like I said large scale arson is the best weapon a person can use. It can be used for a large variety of purposes. Its also very cheap in terms of cost, skill and effort to do.

I agree, he’s Gun nut prepper who’s favorite genre of any media is anything with a giant monster.
